Hello so i recently bought battlefield 4 and turns out my game keeps fps lagging then crashing, if someone has the same issue please help me !

Intel core i5
Nvidia gts450
4gb ram
basicly i saw gameplays and on my pc it should work on medium setting but even when i put it on low settings it lags fps drops to 15-10 fps thats terribly bad.

Try closing everything running in the background that you dont need when running the game.

Just googled it,seems to help many people if you too have the "parked CPU" problem.Hope it helps

Make sure your resolution scale is at 100%

If you max it out to 200% it's basically making the game run on double the resolution that you set your game to run at, which puts an extensive load on your GPU leading to terrible FPS and crashing.

If that's not the problem, try turning these settings off or lowering them:
  • Weapon DOF
  • Post Process Quality
  • Anti-Aliasing (Deferred & Post)
  • Ambient Occlusion
