Hello guys,

Recently, I reinstalled my windows system. I needed to get drivers, games and all the things again.
When I logged on today, I had this sound problem:

I don't hear the sounds my character makes.
When I shoot, I hear the sound of shooting silenced in the background and I hear the bullets hitting the wall.
When I shot infront of me, I hear everything, but when I shot at long range, I don't hear anything.

When I drive a car, just like before, I hear the engine silenced somewhere in the background. When I crash, I hear the crash sounds.

Can someone help me out ?
I remember I had this problem a few months ago, I just can't remember the solution ^^

Type on google:
your audio card - drivers

And download them. It may help or it will fix itself or you need to re-install gta. I had the same problem few months ago and I bought a new computer and it was gone.

There is no drivers for the speakers. Just install the newest drivers for your audio card.

I have the newest drivers, but it still doesn't work.

Unless your sounds are bugged with anything else that requires sound, it shouldn't be the sound cards drivers. Wouldn't hurt to reinstall them, but yeah...


If reinstalling the drivers doesn't fix it, it's the link you downloaded the game froms fault.

I recommend downloading from a new source.

Have you tried downloading HD porn ? Works for me.

maybe your speakers are broken
try to play with a headphone or something

I didn't download the game.

I installed it. A friend have the game from his friend so I borrowed it.
