Why should it be accepted: when you use /reconnect ingame, you will be automatically logged in, as when u reconnect, why u need to login again? and you have logged in already, so auto login , no need to type password or anything

Don't see it much useful, you can easy write your password again.

Its there for security reasons.

I think it's safer for you to have to re-enter your password every time you connect to the server. I see this as being a potential security flaw.
