Sup, I feel like acquainting myself on why SWAT members are/were in SWAT. Write why YOU are or once were in SWAT if you feel like it.

I always enjoyed the atmosphere and the people, always made me stay in the faction. I always found it like a group of friends where you could enjoy yourself and really work hard.

I like it because its roleplayish like we could detain criminals in our car which reminds me of real life and also because its called SWAT. most of the servers i've seen doesnt have such a thing called SWAT. they are usually called or belongs to FBI. but army you know its popular everywhere in any cnr server you'll see it. but SWAT makes me feel like a special cop thats why i like it. oh and also the commanders

If you're asking about how or what we saw in this faction and chose it to join then I'll tell you my story.

When I joined the server in late 2012, I had my eyes on Swat. I didn't even knew that the cyan colored guys are called/known as Swat members. Many players helped me and told me about Swat. I applied 7 times in a row for Swat but every time, I was denied. After failing so many times, I lost my confidence and chose to join Army. I applied for Army and got accepted on my first application. I stayed in Army for like 6 months and after that when I felt like I'm ready to join Swat now, I left Army for Swat. I applied for Swat and got denied again. At that time, I think Auto and Ger were the Commanders and Ryder was the new General of the Army. After getting denied again, I got mad and chose Army once again. I thought that I'm one of the Army material guys who can't join Swat.... Joined Army again and stayed in for a few months. After few months of playing in Army skin, I thought of Swat again because I used to team up with Swat most of the time in Army skin. I left Army again and applied for Swat. Sunday was the new Commander this time, and he rejected my application :'(

This time, I didn't lose my confidence, I kept on trying and on my second or third application, I was accepted. I was damn happy and was feeling like I'm in heaven. The most funny thing is, I was playing in-game when I was accepted in Swat, blind.w0w (aka Connie) came in-game and congratulated me. I was like wtf, why the hell are you congratulating me ?

Then Raskit came in-game, someone told Raskit to give me Swat rights because I was accepted in Swat and he gave me Swat rights, then I knew that I was accepted.

After an year of service, I was given the opportunity to become the Swat WO1. That was one of the best day of my career. I was so damn happy, just like I was happy when I got accepted in Swat. But after few months, I had to leave Swat due to PTA blocked samp and I had a feeling that no Swat WO should get inactive for three or even more than three months (I could get permission to get inactive for more than three months if I asked Energ or Sunday about it, since it was not my fault that PTA banned samp...).

After 3 or 4 months, I came back to the Server and saw that Swat is still owning, that made me decide to join back and play.

I joined Lsrcr in summer of 2011 and after playing for few months I finally decided to apply for SWAT, it was late August when I got accepted. Fortunately I had to apply only once, Cresp tested me and Eagle accepted me. SWAT had some really dark times in early 2012 but I was a good member and I managed to get promoted very quickly. Around summer of 2012 I got promoted to the rank of warrant officer, I still remember competing with Armaros who'd get to test more people in a day. I used to test like 6-7 guys per day in my most active days. I got promoted to Vice-Commander in January 2013 but de facto I was already a Commander. Gilles was inactive so I had to take his place and rule SWAT with Ger. At that time I made a lot of things which SWAT still uses today (the rank system, HWO rank, SWAT account and bank etc.) I got promoted to the rank of full time Commander in April 2013 and I kept it until January 2014 when I resigned. I was in charge for a year and I must say it was a really nice time. I got to work and talk to a lot of people, I had a lot of duties but also great ideas how to improve SWAT. But eventually I got tired, that's why I had to resign. After my resignation I was supervising and helping the new Commander Kaos for the following few months. In the second part of 2014 I had acquired some new SWAT titles, I was the senior advisor and SWAT trader. This means I was the Commander's right hand man in making decisions and I traded with SWAT's wealth. However, I got banned and that's when I decided to resign to Master Sergeant and I left SWAT few days later. I joined Army. I stood in Army for few weeks when I got banned again for 50 days. In December 2014 I contacted Kaos with an idea, I wanted to make a new system for SWAT. He approved the idea and promoted me to SWAT President. What I did next was to organize "Congressional SWAT", SWAT was locked down for few weeks and the Congress was founded. Because I was still banned during that time (I got unbanned before Christmas) and because I was actually a Dictator the senior admins got alarmed and interfered with SWAT. I had time until new year to end the Congress and launch the new system. Around Christmas the new system got launched but a day or two later the members stood up against it and organized a revolution. I revoked the new system, cancelled the commander elections and restored an improved version of the old system... everything was back to normal. Kaos lost his motivation and resigned from Commander, I got forced by the seniors to resign from my dictatorial position (instead of resigning I just left SWAT, it was the fair thing to do). Before leaving I have appointed Cresp as the new Commander and he still rules SWAT today.

This is my story. You might wonder how is this related to the question "why did I join SWAT?"... Well, as you see I had a lot of fun in SWAT, it has given me a lot of opportunity to cooperate with great members, lead a great faction and work on improving it. Army will never have the spirit SWAT does. I like the way SWAT works, the way it breathes, the way the members work together. It's just special and it suits me. No matter how hard I try to join and adapt to any other faction I know that SWAT is the only true faction for me. It's hard to explain it after so many years... it just feels natural and logical to be in SWAT.

I first of all joined SWAT then I went inactive for like 3-4 months (exams and preparations), then I came back to join SWAT and then again went inactive for 2-3 months (exams and preparations), this time, I never wanted to leave SWAT but I got kicked from SWAT for not giving re-tests (I tried to explain the situation to Commander/s that my father wasn't even allowing me to spend 1 minute on computer). So when I came back, I was sad about getting kicked and I joined Army. Then I went inactive again for 2 months (exams again) & when I came back, I decided to join SWAT team again. It's been 2.5 years I am still playing SAMP just because of SWAT & Lsrcr. The reason is very simple, swat members working as a team, their spirit, attempts to achieve new ranks, achievements and other stuff attracts and bounds me to SWAT. I also like cyan colour tbh

when I was still a noob in game (perhaps still )and made nothing but robbing .. when I saw a swat member on my map ... I always get nervous and try to escape as fast as I could ... I kept like this till I met kaos ... I remember I first met him in lv near 4 dragons .. he was in cop skin so am I ... I asked if I could team , he agreed and after a small period I realised I was teaming with the swat commander .... so I started to be more active as a cop .. teaming with swats and gaining their trust and respect .. I failed several times in my application but finally I made it ( the most ridiculous part is that when I got accepted I haven't played in skin for more than a month and got kiced when I was active again) but I made it again .. I admit it ... I wouldn't have succeeded without kaos as he trained me several times , gave me advices , he wasn't just a commander .. he was a super one.. I owe him and hope I can repay him for all what he had done for me

For TL;DRs, SWAT has something unique, Army doesn't (my first reason).
2nd, I saw an SWAT member blocking me up at PD garage with rb.

Pretty much everyone know my story xD I was blacklisted at June 2013 after applying like 100 times. Then 1 year later Ger unblacklisted me and I applied after few hours I was accepted by Sunday. I was his last applicant after he retired from Commander.

I joined Ls-rcr just to be a part of Army and I tried for like 2 months to get accepted in Army. Most of the time I played solo and after a while I started teaming with SWAT cos Army members just wanted to go solo all the time. SWAT was all about team-work and it made me realize that this isnt where I belong, I should be a part of SWAT not Army. I didnt leave Army at once but after a while they kicked every member and started from the beginning and while the Army recruitment was closed me and some of my friends were just making sarcastic comments in mainchat about Army and SWAT. I said a few things like Armysucks (which was said sarcastically) and after that I also said "*jk* I play only for Army" but some guy took ss of the first sentence and showed it to an Army General. I applied for Army again when they started recruiting but that Army General then added me and SWAT com of that in group chat and told him to deny me if I apply for SWAT after getting denied from Army. He didnt even listen to my side of the story and ignored me. It made me cry cos I really respected Army and it's staff. It then made me realize that I was right, Army wasnt for me cos everyone knows that I never abused or said anything bad about them or any faction and it was the only time and some jerk reported me for that.
I failed the Army test, I applied again and I passed cos I wanted to prove it that Im not leaving cos I failed, I was leaving cos I deserved better than Army.
I applied for SWAT and got accepted in first attempt. Thanks to kaosx for giving me a chance to be a part of this incredible team.
Now I'm proud to be a part of SWAT team and I made a lot of friends here and I'm happy that I made the right decision at the right time.
So that was the whole story "why I joined SWAT".
Army can never achieve what SWAT has unless they start working together and stop going behind people's backs.
