Tag System

Greetings Ls-rcr Community,

Facts

This has been discussed before, as far as I know and I believe it's time to see your opinion regarding this fact once and for all. Lately, I've seen inexperienced players get the tag easily, players that don't have a good English knowledge, players that had trouble with the rules before, players that don't have a good overall attitude.

I believe many tagged members don't put an effort into voting, writing 5-6 words is not enough to my mind. A vote must be mature, you must give facts and you must give solutions. You must make the applicant understand where he does wrong and also you must help him improve certain areas of his behavior.

I'm posting this after having a chat with CXdur and Drastic, so I'm not doing it on my own.

Solution

This is what I recommend. Out of an endless list of tagged members, the ASA may choose an uneven number of players, players with experience, players with great English knowledge, players that are mature enough in order to vote properly and choose the best players for the tag.

Those players will set a Tag Council, but you may name it as you please. We need your opinion, we need your thoughts about the current state of the tag system and also the possibility of this idea to take shape.

Thank you for your time,
StormWind

I support this to be done. Because most of our current tagged players just vote with like 6 words or even less. So if the 'Tag system' was changed to something similar to what StormWind posted, it will make the applicants more aware of what their wrong move was and how to improve it. Instead of getting a vote just like "Bad attitude, etc...", it should be more detailed with some kind of guides in it.

well spoken, even i dont have the tag. i agree. the tag should be earned by great attitude and good experince. not just by having 1500 score means that you are tag-ready. age doesnt matter by earning the tag. but if they can and will behave as some one old enough for the tag, then vote yes. i mean, 30 years old act sometimes like a 8 year old raging over a stolen arrest. but a 10 year old can behave just like he is a well grown adult. if the attitude is unknown, just say it and pm sometimes in-game or on the forums to get to know his attitude. for 6 words votes? make a short story of it, like 4 lines in enough. no matter what you vote, negative or positive, tell why.
that is all i wanted to say. Great you wrote it. it must not remain unseen.
Robin.

It is something which I was thinking myself. There are plenty of tagged members who can make legit decisions but unfortunately they are not interested in voting in tag applications. Even I do not vote in certain tag applications because I do not know about the player's attitude and the way in which he behaves. As Stormwind has stated, Lately I have seen many tagged members (Who are recently tagged) behave in a immature manner and break the rules of the server, as they do not know about certain rules properly.

Moreover, I have seen a lot of members voting without a valid reason in tagged applications. This shows that the community has some unfit members within it at this moment. Setting up a tag council may get this problem solved at the earliest. There is a major misconception in voting a player base on experience. Some of the members think certain members are experience by their age or the number of hours the played. The fact is that, ones experience can be judged by their attitude and it depends on how they behave with the other members of the server.

But all of the current tagged members are not immature. Only eight to ten percent of the total tagged members are more immature. Literally speaking, If we find a unfit tagged member, then the members who voted on his application are to be blamed. An administrator who makes a final decision is tagged applications will extremely believe in the vote of the members. (This is what I believe)

Hence, the vote which is made by a tagged member in ones application play a vital role in bringing up good and efficient members into the community. Finally, Big thanks for Stromwind for giving me a chance to express my opinions and thank you very much for reading.

Lmao...voting for tag is simple,we don't need to write fucking novels for our reason...and admins don't even look at the votes, they accept newbies with 1-2 months of playing while ex-tagged and old members get denied for no reason-in other words they accept/deny whoever they want. This suggestion is useless.

Well don't you think that, together, we can do something about it?
