In-Game Reports

Posted: February 12, 2016, 2:22 pm
by Kurtiso
Your name: [Lsrcr]Kurtiso
Suggestion headline: Whenever we report someone in game, we don't get any idea about if the report is being taking care of or not. So my suggestion is, when an Adminstrator gets a report IG from someone, he should write up a command so the reporting player will know if the report has been seen or not (EX; "[Lsrcr]Energ is now looking into your report.").
Picture: Keep the picture in this
Spoiler: show
Importance of suggestion: 7/10
Why should it be accepted: Adminstrators will no longer be spammed to look into an IG report if the reporting player knows that his report is under investigation.

neutral
Ex: Fury reported Kurtiso, reason insulting and provoking, then you saw '' [Lsrcr]Duffey is checking your report'' What if that guy whoever checked the report from the staff team went afk getting coffe or something then coming back to deal with it? you will literally spam him to tell him why didn't you take actions? it's good to keep it that way that you don't know who is checking your report to avoid Newbies spaming and even more saying the adminstrator name in /ask to take actions, etc

Yep, +1. Also needed because sometimes admins are afk.

If an Adminstrator can't take action instantly, then he shouldn't show you that he is looking into your report at all.

Alot of the times I report a player in game when an admin is online I use /ask and say "spectate me" because everyone here knows more about what mods look like than me.

But many times I've also reported the normal way and I'll get an admin PM saying "I'm on it" or "spectating" and such.

I'm neutral because if you feel your report isn't being looked at you can also gather proofs and report here on forums.

I can't record so I have to rely on screenshots or ask to be spectated alot if I have suspicions.

+1, and when an Admin does that, he automatically spectates the player. Once he finishes the spectate, you get informed about that.
