/q abuse.

Your name: MastroHere
Suggestion headline: Quitting while being chased should not be allowed.
Picture: N/A
Importance of suggestion: 8-9/10
Why should it be accepted:

Well, as you can see from the title, people are abusing /q 'command' to avoid getting killed/arrested too much. In my opinion, there should be a rule for that.

This should be obviously forbidden. Why? For example; you rob a cop, you make him poor, then you /q in order not to face the consequences of your move,, you come back, with 0 wanted level, while a few minutes ago you commited a crime. Yeah makes sense. Fair enough.

I am mostly playing as a cop, and I have faced that 'million' times. In some cases, you are going to chase the most wanted player, you finally shoot him, he has 10-20 hp left, you are ready to get much cash and after a long ass chase and effort you have probably put into all this, he leaves. Like, seriously? Quitting while being chased should be strongly prohibited. You can simply rob million of players/shops, kill a bunch of players, commit countless crimes in general and not even get 'punished' for that by either dying or getting arrested.

Some players may agree with me; some will probably find this suggestion stupid,,(some may also start randomly quoting people not being able to express their own opinion),,because probably they are one of those players who leave when they have no other choice than just quitting in order not to get affected.

-1, Cops already have sh*t loads of advantages including those the /bc thing, I myself play more as a cop than a criminal, happened to me loads of times, but still I disagree with this.

Dude, what are you talking about? By typing /q, you quit from the game, it's not a feature for criminals or anything else, in any server, if you type /q, you are out of the game, and in this instance, it's highly abusable.

If, in reality, cops have more advantages comparing to criminals, then you should better add some feautures that balance the whole thing, not letting players to quit while being chased.

If you commit a crime, you should be punished, it's a cops and robbers server. So according to your logic, you can excessively rob shops, getting shit load of money, then a cop comes to kill you, you quit, and everything is ok? You come back, you repeat the same thing, and you end up being a rich player that never got killed/arrested at least one time.

Mate, that's called abuse.

The only advantage of cops over suspects is that they team with each other. When suspects are teaming with each other, rarely a solo cop can get them, am I right?

You've got +1 from my side.

well i'm pretty sure that this wont get added anyways, what if the player had to go like just after the cops came and chased him? lagged out and he /q'd because of the lag? well think about it, anyways you have a point, changing my vote to +1.

If you /q in the middle of the chase and come back within 5 mins, then you did not need have to go. This can be as same as evading hits. If you come within 30 mins, you can report them on forums, simple as that

What if, what if, what if..

If you have to go then let cops to kill/arrest you, or just leave, in this instance it won't be considered as death evading, same with timing out, this happens once in a while, seriously, I have faced so far so many criminals, 2-3 have timed out in front of me while they were being chased.

If you are going to come up with any possible reason that forces you to quit, then leave it. There are ALWAYS some exceptions for almost everything.

All times are UTC
