          So, it's happened to me before, my brother, and quite a lot of people I know. You get busy, life throws a bunch of crap at you, and suddenly you're forgetting about anything fun and just getting by, you log in next, and your houses you gave the server money for, and everything else. Just gone. It's disheartening to players to know that people can prey on their stuff after 90 days go by and sometimes you can't help forgetting about games and the like when life hits hard.

          So have an automated email go out to players with houses, if they've been inactive for 45 days, send a second one out at 75 days, telling them that they're inactive, and that in 45 days your houses will no longer by protected and anyone can buy them, in 15 days, etc. Give people a notice, hell even make it something people could sign up for, that way people get some kind of warning, multiple times, in an inbox that most people online check weekly at least. It'd definitely make people feel like their time and money around is a lot more appreciated that they're given this warning.

+1. I was inactive (for one year ) and I learnt my house belongs to someone else now, and it sucks.

I do like this idea. I'll think about it.
