How to save files in Windows 7 in Desktop

Hey guys can you help because i cant save the files or application in desktop and if i restarting the pc and the application or file is not in the desktop. help me!

Check your computer settings and restrictions. See if that's the problem, if that does not work that the download of more ram should fix the problem, XD


If not then try putting them in your documents.

I know a virus which does this. Whatever changes you make to your files and settings, everything will be reverted once you restart your computer. Edit or delete any file in any other directory or volume and restart your computer. Check if the changes have been reverted or not. Post the results.

If he's in an internet café, a program named Deep Freeze might be installed which does the same thing as the mentioned virus with the aim of preserving the computer's performance over time.

Or check if the icons don't go off screen (this happens to me once connecting a second monitor at some points).
