This occasionally happens. Sometimes my phone gives me double notifications for everything except text messages and calls. How do I stop that?

It typically only does it on apps like twitter Facebook and kik


My phone is an iPhone 5s with the newest IOS

Simple solution: Get an Android phone (preferably a flagship).

"Complex" solution: Settings --> Notifications --> [yourapp] --> Repeat Alerts --> Never

But I turned all repeat notifications off already as soon as I got the phone

Settings --> Notifications --> turn it off and then back on
