Areas we could all improve on..

Another topic by myself, but this one is different from the others. First of all I do not see myself as someone with higher authority over anyone, I'm just a member of the team that decided to voice his opinion on how he thinks the group could improve. Yes, I like the word "improve" a lot even though I know that some people might be allergic to it. Improving is good, improving is fun. We have a responsibility to keep improving as a team since we are SWAT members. A regular cop does not necessarily have this imposed to them, but we do. Hence why I'm making this topic, to share my ideas, and hopefully hear yours, on how to improve as a team.

Note: There will be examples without names associated with them. Do not take it personally, it is just to show something that can be improved. After all, we are a team composed of similar members in many ways, so there's a chance that more than just one person committed any of what I am about to say.
  • Internal fights/disputes/reports:
For this problem, I've decided to look at the 10 latest reports that have been made to swat members. Guess what, most of these are created by either current/former SWAT team members. This is not a good sign at all, specially for the current members reporting fellow teammates. Yes, if someone does break a rule you should report, but only if he does it beyond a warning. We are a team and we ought to look out for each other, instead of just reporting instantly or just start a dispute/fight over something minor. Also, there's a lot of disputes sometimes over who gets to drive, who cuffs, etc. which are also pointless. My point is, this is the first thing that should be the absolute most minimal thing (ideally non existent) out of these problems.
  • Relationship with cops:
The title I've chosen for this is somewhat misleading I suppose so I'll expand on it here, in the description. It's happened more times than I'd like to admit when there is a preference for teaming with SWAT members rather than with regular officers. This is wrong and should be addressed. If there are a lot of swats for an officer or more to team, then there should be teams assigned consisted of (2 swats, 2 cops) or a variation of that. We can't ignore cops, we are supposed to help them since once you get into SWAT it is assumed (incorrectly if I may add) that you are more experienced than someone who is not. Being a member does not put you over any other cop/leo, and if you are to team with someone new in the server you should especially not ignore them and help them learn the ropes. We were all new at one point, and in several aspects, we can learn lots of things from new players just as they can learn a bunch of things from us. You as a swat member should be more inclined to team with new/unfamiliar people more than anyone else in the server, not only to gauge their abilities but also to carry out your responsibility and show them a few things they may not necessarily be aware of.
  • Complaining/Whining:
A problem with just as large a magnitude as the other two I've previously talked about. As SWAT members we are not supposed to complain/whine about things, but to deal with them. Someone using a vortex? Find a way to deal with it, not to spam the chat with "Stop using that" or "That's gay" etc. It does not make him look bad, it makes us look bad. It makes US look like we're incompetent enough to deal with the scenario that we have to go around the main chat typing nonsense. Another topic, bmx's. While I do not see members of the community that use them to be particularly skilled, it does not mean that I cannot deal with them. As a matter of fact, I love dealing with bmx's since they are the most rewarding. Do not complain about a bmx, deal with it. Do not complain about someone doing "x", deal with "x". If a member breaks any sort of rule, you should continue the chase and after it is done, let them know either through /pm or the main chat. I've found pm to be a better alternative since most people prefer to talk about such subjects in a private environment. Don't go flat out and say "OMG U FUCK NOOB DONT MEGAJUMP PICE OF SHIT". That makes US look bad as well. Tell them something like "Are you aware with the server's /rules? You are not allowed to megajump as a wanted on a bike." Not only will it make us look good, it will also improve your personal relationship with the player in question. You will be improving the server as well since you'd encourage him/her to read the rules, instead of going beserk on them.
Anyways, that's pretty much what I had in mind. Please let me know what you think of this, and share if there is any other advice you'd have for us to improve as a team. I've mentioned the word "improve" 7 times in this point up to now, and I've mentioned some sort of variation of "complain" around the same number. Let's make sure that we start acting like we are supposed to, instead of spouting nonsense on the main chat, instead of complaining about people using this or that in their gameplay, instead of reporting each other for stupid reasons, etc.

Salute,
Rally.
