[Rejected] Use of voting formats

Name: rally3
Suggestion(s): Enforce (or at least encourage) use of voting formats
Why would it be useful: It would make applications more appealing to read, and make members put some effort into voting. It would also make Army as a more "professional" faction if a proper template is used.
Additional comments: I've taken some time to create one type of template, with variations for a possible/neutral/negative vote. I'll go one by one for each scenario, first inserting the "raw" code in a spoiler, and then provide with a complete example.

Positive

Hello (applicant name),

Thanks for applying to our faction. As you should be aware, members like me are required to vote on applicants like yourself not only for the high command officers but also for the rest of the team to be informed. Depending on a number of factors, such as shooting skill, flying skill, attitude, etc. we as members of the S.A. Army are supposed to voice our opinion on you as an applicant. The following is my reply to such a task.

I am required to justify my reasoning for giving you such a qualification, and here it is listed below.

Good luck with your application, (applicant's name).

Hello Robin,

Thanks for applying to our faction. The following is my reply to such a task.

Positive

I am required to justify my reasoning for giving you such a qualification, and here it is listed below.
  • Skilled member
    • Skill is obviously an important factor. Applicant can shoot/drive/fly very well.
  • Active as LEO
    • Commited towards keeping the state of San Andreas clean, will probably be a very active member.
  • Good attitude
    • Well mannered and with good english knowledge, he'll represent the faction accordingly.

Good luck with your application, Robin.

Signed,

  • Average skills
    • Not proficient in any area but not bad either.
  • Normal activity
    • User is somewhat active as a LEO, but not too much.
  • Regular attitude
    • Seems alright, but I need more time to evaluate his attitude.

Good luck with your application, Robin.

Negative

I am required to justify my reasoning for giving you such a qualification, and here it is listed below.
  • Unskilled member
    • Should really work on his shooting and flying.
  • Inactive as LEO
    • Is barely on the server and when he is he is never an officer of the law.
  • Terrible attitude
    • Immature, tends to rage a lot and call other people stealers.

Good luck with your application, Robin.

Signed,
[Lsrcr]JohnCarer[GEN].

Please note that I have taken some inspiration from SWAT's template (only natural since I am a part of said faction) so you are obviously more than welcome to create a different format and use that instead.

Looking forward to hearing some input and hopefully get a variation of this included in Army!

It is good how it is now, we are free to express our opinions through votes like how we feel. Making a template and forcing the members to follow it doesn't feels good to me.

Anyways, you are free to express what you want as well, it's just a neater and more professional/aesthetic way.

Encourage, yeah sure. Forcing to use templates, no.
I'd rather stick with my own templates:

★ ... general activity

I had a feeling people would say this which is why I said:

I will go with + 1
looks nice and organized in my opinion looks better than the regular voting method and I always admired the way swat members vote and now we would have a voting template like they do.

What I ment is that some people (just some) actually use templates instead of typing it out with plain text.
For some bit more fancy templates, I'd say yes but there should be a bit of freedom in this and allowing people to use their own created templates.

This is why I offered a possible 'fancier" template. I'm not saying this should be what gets encouraged to be used, but just giving a general idea. Of course people should be allowed to make it an ordered list, table, put pictures, etc. But I do think that some sort of format should be enforced, but it would allow for "customization".

It seems we're on the same page though

Sorry but every member may choose which template to vote with and it's all up to the personal preference. We won't force anyone to use strict templates but rather leave it to members' own will. Thank you for the suggestion and effort you made, appreciated.
