How to fix the Supporter System

Your name: rally3
Suggestion headline: Fixing the supporter system
Picture: Keep the picture in this
Spoiler: show
Importance of suggestion: 8/10
Why should it be accepted:

First of all, read this topic if you haven't done so already. The supporter system is flawed indeed, but unlike others I will offer an actual fix to it.

To fix a problem you need to know what the problem is (duh). The problem here is that the current system is very secretive with regards to both questions to supporters and answers from them. I can (and I've done this many times) go as a "newbie" and ask some random questions and I will get different replies. Some of them were even wrong. But there was no one other than the other supporters to correct whoever told me something incorrect, which spells trouble. If I ask some question and I'm misguided, I could end up getting fucked because of someone else's incompetence.

So how do we fix this problem? Easy, we make both the questions and the answers available to all players (in the mainchat). Example:

- I do /ask "How to rob the bank".
- Everyone then gets a message on the server like "Question: rally3 (35) asked: How to rob the bank?".
- Then supporters can reply with as normal, as well as any other player who knows the correct answer
- Everyone then gets a message on the server like "Supporter Name (34) answered rally3's question: You need to go to claude .. etc"

The process has to be made public in order for it to make sense. Hope to hear people's input on this.

When you say "everyone" on the server does that include the non supporters, admins and players?

I can even make the system to show you, but its easier to explain through here.

Esentially, every single player in the server gets the question in that format provided.

Only supporters and staff can do /answer (id), and the answer will be shown to every player in the server in the specific format.

Other players can reply as well with a normal chat message.

I remember this from some random shit server Lacky showed me once.

Once the question is answered, there will be 2 messages in the mainchat, one with the question and one with the answer.

No.

I prefer admin assistance. Something like hidden forum for Supporters looks like a good idea if you ask me. Admins will be clearing some questions for the Supporters if needed and teach the Supporters how to be more professional. I dislike the current Supporter system because Supporters answer the questions literally to showoff that they're "helping". Example: a question has been asked and I reply first. The other Supporters have seen that I replied first and they keep replying - that's pointless.

Or adding a Supporter chat which can be accessed by Staff members (obviously) and when we're unclear about some rule we can ask them.

You must've not read the guidelines to what you were committing to very well lol, clearly it states "Only answer the question if you are 100% sure".

You would still be able to ask fellow supporters or others before using the /answer command, and you would most likely still have a private supporter chat to clear your doubts or whatnot if you wish.

It needs to be public though.

For an example there are times when there is two or three Supporters in-game and we don't know the answer of the question.

You didn't develop that last reply really well either, so I assume that your problem or whatever was something among the lines of "oh but what if all of us (supporters) don't know the answer?

If all of you don't know an answer, then you either try to get it from yourselves or other players or you just let other players answer that question. I mean you're supposed to be well informed but it is understood that you can't just simply know everything. In that case, leave it up for someone who does know about that specific scenario.

The question, and the answer, need to be public.

Actually, I don't even see the improvement here. If your suggestion is accepted that doesn't mean that everything will be perfect and there won't be any questions wrongly answered.

Staff members can access the questions we get and the answers we send. If we answer wrong - they correct us and sometimes they answer the questions for us.
