Your suggestion: Remove double promotions from smotm
Reason: Hello folks, I hope you all are having a great day and a great week. So here is what I feel about SMOTM, WE DONT NEED IT. As simple as that. Multiple reasons for it:
1) People getting it even when they dont deserve it, why? Kin relations. They got friends in SWAT apparently, and no matter how active you are, you are unlikely to win it, because "Hey, you were good and active? Doesnt matter, I got friends in the team"
I am sure many of you will agree to it. SMOTM is just a waste of time. Instead, normal promotions are better, because they are done by the staff team according to the person's activity and stuff and keeping the statistics in mind. This is something I have noticed from about 6 months. When I joined swat it was actually given on the basis of actual activity and skills, people actually took it seriously and voted for whom they found the best member that month. Now thats clearly not the case.
A better alternative could be that the staff team automatically double promoted one of the members, who, according to them was the best the following month. Have a vote in the swat staff team (including the WOs)

Even though I just noticed I only put 1 reason, but you get the point.

I totally agree with the suggestion.


SMOTM should be chosen by the staff team and not the members, and some of the members are not trustworthy enough to carry the responsibility of voting fairly. This should balance SWAT and the votings in SMOTM.

I talked about this a lot before, and I am strongly agreeing about this. Promotions are supposed to be performed exclusively by SWAT Staff, not other players, solely because members have relationships with each other which does indeed in many occasions make unfair voting. It is about time to get rid of this.

SMOTM has been in the faction for a quite long time and there is no need for it's removal. Just work hard and you'll force others to vote you but you only need to prove yourself in the team by your loyalty, activity, attitude and skills.

Only if smotm was given on these basis these days,,,

Maybe not completely removed but if it was picked from the wo and swat staff that would've been much better.

The vast majority of non-egyptian members are complaining about this issue, we shoud blame the commanders since they aren't able to catch those members who are voting for their friends.

I agree with what deadlykiller mentioned above, SMOTM should be chosen by swat staff otherwise disallow egyptians from voting on smotm poll to avoid the manipulation of votes.
