Suggestion headline: New donated item in the shop.
Importance of suggestion: 8/10
Why should it be accepted: Well yeah I'll explain it down below. I've recently seen about 3 suggestions regarding the limit of how many cars we can own with IG money and all of them got denied. But what I'm going so suggest now is slightly different. I'm suggesting to be able to buy a vehicle slot from the Shop. It'd be like the following:
You go to the Lsrcr shop and in one of the categories you'll find two donated items:
1) "Ground vehicles slot" for 4DPs and it'll be permanent (I believe the price and duration are fine this way because 4DPs would cost 40+M IG cash but of course admins are the ones to decide that)
2) "Air vehicles slot" for 3 DPs and it'll be permanent (Same stuff written above)

This has many benefits since it'll increase donations and special vehicles like Vortex, etc... aren't available IG so yeah the donations on them won't stop I guess
Note: The vehicles you buy in that slot are only the ones available IG and if you donate for a vehicle from the Lsrcr shop (eg: Vortex) it'll not affect your slot.

I was going to suggest it my idea is little bit same with yours but yours idea is awesome it won't affect any donations it'll increase it that's a very good suggestion i need this as soon as possible, +1

This is a nice suggestion but useless as a donated item. It should be for everyone and only one extra vehicle slot should be given, this as a donated item will only get used by a small amount of people, be that as it may that there’s a possibility of increaseing donations reserveing everything as a donated item is telling new comers that were nothing more then a server that’s starving for donations and the new comer might end up leaving as a whole, I’ve seen the same thing happen in a few game servers that were donation based and pushing the whole “you have to donate or else you aren’t gonna shit here” not saying that lsrcr is like that but that’s how most people will see it and it’ll get rid of future donators.

Adding an extra vehicle slot to everyone is probably a bad idea. The vehicle slots were already increased by two (by allowing air vehicles and boats) a while ago, and we would of course have increased them more if this hadn't caused issues with vehicles on the server. Allowing players to tow an extra vehicle would mean that every online player would technically be allowed to spawn 6 vehicles, and if there are 50 players online doing this, it would take up 300 vehicles. I am not saying this is realistic calculation, but it would be the maximum amount. Also, you have to consider the fact that players who log off will not have their vehicles despawned. They would remain there until an admin resets the vehicles.

I think you are exaggerating by quite a bit when you you say that you have to donate or else you aren't going to get shit. Donator points are tradeable on LSRCR and so are duel and jail cards. LSRCR itself lives on donations and we cannot afford to run without them. Of course it would be preferrable, even from our point of view, to not give any special perks like these to donators, but if you were to run a server yourself you would quickly see that it is absolutely crucial unless you intend to cover all the costs yourself which none of us actually can afford.

We are not a community trying to maximize profit, we don't actually take out profit. We spend our money on the server to keep it alive, and there have been several months where we have had to take money from our own pockets in order to cover the cost. I cannot see how you can compare this server to a server where you can't get shit if you don't donate, that is extremely untrue.

If we were to add this as a donation item permanently for 6 DPs, which I am not saying we will, it would be equal to around $60 millions in-game I believe, assuming you buy the DPs in-game for cash. Most active players will be able to acquire this money quite easily, the item would not in any way be reserved to donators.

Anyhow, it would not be possible to increase the vehicle slots for the entire player base because of the unwanted side effects this could have for the server. If we were to add it for a smaller group of players however, it would probably be fine.

Indognito, I think your arguments are very off, and I also think that you should try to put yourself into our shoes (the shoes of a developer and server manager), because not taking donations is not an option if we intend to keep the server alive, and giving all players an extra vehicle slot is certainly not good for the server either. Try to see it from our point of view.

I am not accepting/rejecting this suggestion, but I will let the players give their opinions and then I will take it into consideration.

+1 Will be helpful for those wants extra slot and it will be helpful for community as well.
But i think it will be used very less.

I think you mis understood my point, I wasn’t labeling lsrcr as anything or saying lsrcr is built for profit of the admin team I was simply explaining what making everything donate only looks like to players who come, and expressing points where other communities have went overboard so that the people can know what it looks like, I’m not exaggerating nothing I think you should proof read or if anything ask questions before jumping to conclusions since it makes you look bad when You have to constantly jump to conclusions and try to tell me what I’m doing when simple questions could have prevented this and have you better informed of what I was saying, I am entitled as everyone else here to vote on these suggestions and express my views on how I feel about them.

Perhaps I didn't understand your point, you are right, but there might be other players who did not either. I know you didn't say that LSRCR was built for profit, but you did compare it to servers who I believe are built for profit, and essentially said that we are heading this direction (and that we aren't now, we would be if we were to accept this). I do think you are exaggerating when you compare us to such servers, even if you state that Lsrcr isn't like that, you are saying that we are heading in this direction, and if you are not stating this, why would you bring it up?

You are also saying it's useless as a donation item and that we could risk new comers leaving if we are to add something like this, and that you have personally seen it on servers that were donation based, where they push "you have to donate or you are not getting shit". LSRCR isn't anything like that and that's why I reacted, it's not a comparison that I can even remotely recognize LSRCR in or agree with.

I did proof read it, and again the comparisons are what made me react. I never jumped to a conclusion and I wouldn't even have been able to know for sure why you compared Lsrcr to such servers, all I know is that you did and therefore I felt it was necessary to clarify what our donations actually go to. I knew there was a chance that you were already aware of this, but I thought I would clarify, because even if you did not know, there could be other players who don't and would have a bad reaction from your reply. You should understand that there are a lot of players on these forums, quite a bunch of them are new players as well, and if they don't know too much and they see this, they might think we indeed are like such servers. My point is even if you didn't need to hear this, there might be others who do, especially after reading your reply.

Yes, of course you are, but I still believe your comparisons are way off and that they are not appropriate. I really appreciate your views on suggestions, and you have been quite helpful and active in this section for a long time. I never said you weren't entitled to post here, I am not sure why you would assume that I feel you aren't, because as I stated above I really do appreciate detailed feedback like you write, and I have always read your replies and taken them into account, and I will also say that you are often a lot more detailed than others. Not all of my reply was directly targeted to you, it was also targeted to people who could potentially be confused by your reply.

Players seem to appreciate this suggestion but I am still not completely sure about it. I want more opinions on this, and I also have to agree with Indognito that it might not necessarily need to be strictly reserved to people who purchase it for donator points. We could for instance also include veteran players with tags, tagged members, I do not really know, it is something to take into consideration. Again, I would like to state that I am not accepting/rejecting the suggestion, just throwing out ideas.

If we were to restrict it to veteran members only then people will stat showing-off and all that. My opinion is limiting this tool to tagged members as if it's an item for tagged members only. To make it better, I say you remove the item from the player if he lost his tag.

5 DPS for a new slot seems reasonable, I never saw anyone donating for a vehicle you can buy IG anyway.

As long as the donation-only vehicle stay that way, this can't really cause any harm in my eyes.
