Okay so you clicked on this suggestion because you were curious about what it even implies,

There have been many issues regarding some rulebreaks and how to go about them, there are also some rules that are controversial and that end up allowing players to do things that fall under harassment and community annoyance because not many people know what the rules are or even what to do when a situation that’s like this comes up it’s not always easy to even determine what to do cause of how controversial the rules can be when it comes to situations that are borderline rulebreaks, this is to insure that something that is done to players who constantly do these things only for the purpose of annoying and targeting specific members, such as blocking bases, pay n sprays, smashing up the persons car who has done nothing to provoke the situation, following players accross the map even though they stated they wanted to be left alone, these are only borderline but highly controversial the suggestion is to try and eliminate the whole toss of the dice when it comes to /reporting under certain categories that can be a hit or miss and clear up rather confusing rules but this is only towards players that have done constantly.

If this is a constant thing from a specific member (or group of members) then simple punishments such as admin jail and banning for a few days will not always help, because it’s constant it means the situation has escalated so a harsher punishment should also be granted if the players continues to do said actions he was warned of and told not to do.

Also there should be a rule (if not one already implemented) to where you cannot /rp someone for attempted anything that already gives a wanted level.


I honestly hope I’ve expressed things here in a clear enough manner, for those of you who have had to deal with this it would be a good idea if you commented below with your vote a simple +1 won’t be counted as a vote.

I agree with this. I tried to /dkidnap a cop and got wanted level 3. He /rp'd me for attempted kidnap and he jailed me. Either remove getting wanted level when we attempt to rob/rape/kidnap etc when there's a cop nearby or add the rule Indognito mentonied earlier.

Imagine, that some player left the server while he was tazed. He re-joined the server and he got auto-jailed. But admin banned him later for /ar evading.
Nah, this player got punished by the server so punishing him again is pointless.

Same thing here. We got wanted level for attempted anything, so /rping with that reason is pointless too.

What I’m talking about is this: a player goes out of his way to actively annoy players, does it constantly by doing anything he knows he can get away with due to certain controversial rules that make the situation difficult to take action on, if done constantly and a report that would normally get ignored gets placed it’ll allow something to get done about a situation that is rather problematic. Not server punishable offenses like leaving while tazed. This suggestion is to have a way to report when a situation has gone on for awhile and have something to be done about it even if a rulebreak was only on a technicality level. this is to insure that players who are legitimately harassed can /report and hopefully something gets done about it. It’s generally to make it easier on both the players and admins when this happens.

The player is always verbally warned first when it comes to that before taking any action as taking action should always be the last option, if he/she carries on that's when he gets warned/jailed and banned for certain amount of time depending on his previous punishments.

And yeah, i agree that /rp'ing for such as attempting to rob/rape/kidnap shouldn't be allowed as players already get wanted level for that which you have to give a ticket instead of increasing their wanted level.

The issue is most of the times it gets ignored because ether no admins ingame or they are all afk etc, on top of that hackers and cheaters usually get dealt with first which means there’s too much room for these players to break rules they know isn’t allowed or intentionally do things that are controversial just to annoy players and get away with it, a simple jailing, verbal warning wouldn’t be sufficient and a good portion of the times the player has already been warned or jailed even temp banned if an admin cared to deal with it, the issue is they always come back doing the same actions and when reported nothing gets done so the player (or players) who have already been mildly punished are now thinking that they can do whatever they want because they feel that they are untouchable since nothing is getting done so issues that are constant and controversial will keep happening and will go on for months, this causes players to leave and not want to come back because it’s something that should’ve been handled when it started still is not, it even causes problems with new players because new ones start catching on and ether 1 /q and not come back at all after a day or two 2: thinks this is acceptable behavior 3: rule breaks and bug abuses just to try to circumvent the problem. This doesn’t promote a healthy community it only causes more issues but also when it’s controversial and the rules have too many loopholes it causes confusion and then trash players will use those to their advantage, intentionally annoying players and exploiting loopholes isn’t allowed but it’s hard to determine when the rules are unclear and these can be difficult to punish since there’s a lot of grey areas and those grey are what the players exploit because they know most wont want to mess with it, this is to be able to take action as an admin and not have to get shit (if they get repermended for stuff like this) for having to perm ban them and for the players to be able to actually put out a report and not have to read the rules 1000+ times And have to constantly report for things that might only be borderline rulebreaks. Though to cut down on useless reports it has to be constant.

It’s why I added that aspect to it so one time offenses don’t count but that’s common sense.

I already had a talk with Indognito on Discord about this, and some rules have also been updated.
