How do we watch dreams

A question with a very difficult answer. Still not 100% discovered.
While the day goes, the brain collects all the memory from it. All of your senses have recorded your memories. So, when you saw something, there is also a smell memory recorded, even though you didn't smell anything.
One of the memories your brain registers is also your feelings. Now, all these memories are very mixed up on your mind which cause you to get tired. This is the reason why you are tired in the night, because you have mixed up memories and they need to "render", aka organize. These memories organize while you sleep. A memory's time to organize is based on how strong the feeling was. So, you felt something a lot, doesn't have to be bad/good, it takes more time for it to be organized in your brain. Now, all this process happens while you are sleeping at your unconscious part of the mind, while the conscious is sleeping and only has small places open. When the unconscious mind deals with a lot of emotion, it opens the conscious part of the mind and some of the memories go through that part. Now this is the part where you start watching a dream. The conscious part of the mind has a place which puts common sense on your actions. Without this, you would only see images, well, without this you would be basically be called mentally disabled because you wouldn't have a common logical sense. While these images go through your conscious part of the brain, they also appear as an image while you are sleeping. What goes on that part are just thousands of images moving extremely fast with the other senses as well. How this images go through the conscious part of the mind is completely mixed up and random, it can also be mixed up with memories from the past which is already stored or with memories which are not stored yet, it can also be mixed with the creativity part of the conscious brain and create random logical sense images.
Have you ever watched a nightmare and woke up from it? That happened because the strong emotion which woke up your whole conscious part of the mind, which woke you up. However, when watching dreams the emotions are not so strong to wake you up. Or they might wake you up to the point where you know that you are watching a dream but that's for another topic.
Back to the images. These random images generating fast, but way slower than the others and the logical part of the brain tries to make some sense with them and make them logical. Now, the famous question: How many seconds does it take for you to watch a dream? For the images to get organized, that's pretty fast, not on seconds, however way slower then the other memories without lots of emotion. However, after getting stored, it leaves traces in your brain and you experience it for longer which can last for hours. This is the dream that you watch.
Slowly your mind starts to wake up and you become self aware, which usually stops a dream.
Sorry if i didn't make any sense, its very difficult.
Oh and about the "dreams which give a message", i have no idea.
