First laptop:
Acer Nitro 5 (i5 7th gen variant)
RAM: 8 GB DDR4
GPU: GTX 1050ti 4 GB GDDR5
CPU: i5 7300HQ (2.5 GHz base clock and 3.5 GHz turbo)
HDD: 1 TB
SSD: 128 GB

Second laptop:
MSI GL Series core i7 7th gen
RAM: Same
GPU: GTX 1050 (no to) 4 GB GDDR5
CPU: i7 7700HQ (2.8 GHz base clock and 3.8 GHz turbo)
HDD: 1 TB
No SSD.

I need to chose one between these two only for gaming and daily use. No rendering/editing etc. I don't want to build a PC incase you suggest me this. It is urgent so I won't be able to save money for future so don't tell me to save for future. Please suggest me one between these two for gaming/daily use. Both are same price in my country.

I would go with Msi. They are one of three (asus rog and razer) best gaming brands, if not even the best. This is very important because gaming laptops need to have a better cooling system. (Unlike high spec laptops like HP with poor cooling and heat management).

You can easily upgrade SSD later by removing the optic drive which you will never need. 120gb ssd with bracket costs 60-70$. The upgrade is very easy and doesn't require dissasembling whole laptop, just one screw that holds the optic drive to pull it out and stick ssd in.

Either way run versus benchmarks and look into msi laptop reviews.

Well, you can build a better PC in the same price but in my opinion go for MSI GL Series!

Yeah I also hear that but I decided to take the risk and get the Acer predator Helios 300. i5 8th gen (8350H), gtx 1050ti, 1 TB HDD, 128GB SSD and 8 GB rank. I got it because it was 1300$ here but it was on sale for 900$ and was a steal IMO. I will update you all when I get the laptop and post the gaming results. Thanks guys

Update me when it overheats well you got yourself a deal and a warranty on it (I hope...) so you know

People did say that it reached 85°C but I will undervolt it. Undervolting fixed the issue for many people and I hope it would do it for me too

I've had my gaming laptop for nearly 2 years (just a month left) and it never overheated.

Still, my advise stays: only take a laptop if you MUST move it around frequently.

Yeah the laptop is not totally mine my brother would be using it. He needed a laptop to do projects like AutoCAD and I needed a gaming machine. So this was the best option and he needs to take the laptop to his college for presentations sometimes

As Robin said,only buy a gaming laptop if you move a lot.If you just prefer a smaller screen or so,then you're gonna waste your money on a laptop.Anyways,the laptop seems to have good specs,which will grant you 60fps mid-high settings AAA titles probably
