What happened?

Gameplay got stale. It's CnR without any real additional fun. CnR only does well if you can roleplay it, or TDM it. We do both but neither. I think a lot of players get bored of the Lsrcr style sadly. I made a suggestion on how to make us more unique and freshen it up, but no one is reading it.

Indeed, you getting bored after a week of playing in this mod, but let's say if they change the whole mod for something more powerful we will still get bored after a while, this is how the system work you can't play a game forever. Im playing since 2013 in this server I always like this mod because he was classic and simple ''Cops & Robers'' I think changes won't change the activity of the server right now because this game is getting old.

so i've returned to check things after years of inactivity,
i see that many players left and that the server now have less players than usualy
it had 70-80 players and now its maximun 30
what did i miss?

To me, nothing has changed. I started playing when the server had max 10-15 players (back in '08/09) , and now LSRCR grew up to be a BRAND! A whole new player base ,and a large community ! (imagine over a million users nowadays , which i never thought would happen back then,blew my mind when i first read the statistics)
Honestly , speaking for myself i'm proud to see it grow and evolve.
But at the same time ,if i were to start playing SA-MP again,i'm pretty sure i'll be quickly disappointed in the quality of the newcomers.And the quality of the players themselves.
Shit , i don't even know if any "oldheads" are still playing this 14 year old game.

Look, I agree with Joseph, it's not about the mode, but as far as I see, the old community members focused in real life, which is more important, some of them left, like me. Some of them tried playing other modern games as the other mentioned and they enjoyed it, new friends/new playstyle. Some are pissed off becaused of some newbies who's ruining their fun/enjoyment by breaking the rules. That's what I've observed before leaving.
