You are not even taking into consideration that if you get bombed by SWAT in the first place, you probably got too close to them or didn't think ahead. You are saying it's easy and that it's just one click. For it to be easy, the victim has to be making it easy. I don't know, I feel like your view is kind of one sided. You are clearly seeing this from a cop hunting perspective, but LSRCR is a CNR server, not a TDM server.clearly one sided point of view obviously, topic lock before cafe players spam it with just +1, and no COUNTERARGUMENT at all
Spikes would also be useless. As you are saying in the suggestion, there are road blocks. Spikes haven't been implemented because there is no real use case for them, and it would be a waste of resources in that sense.

here again, these “cophunters” greedy like dogs never satisfied continuously want more, without thinking it twice before making a suggestion like this
We have never requested anything for us, all we've requested since start is only the removal of this OVERPOWERED bomb.
I expect this suggestion to be supported only by server players with an average age of 10 obviously, only thing they know is to hunt cops non stop and this thing is their kryptonite...
Non stop cophunt? C'mon bud, you know yourself that a Cop hunt couldn't last for more than 5 minutes if there's a guy with the bomb.
Swat bomb is already nerfed too much, since I came back I was surprised how this actual BOMB was nerfed to this play toy, easy to counter in comparison with the older Bomb which would end a riot in seconds, that was a bit OP but still doesn’t justify the downgrade it had.
Yep, I knew something like this would come up that's why I mentioned not to bring the past. I'm still surprised that you're not accepting the fact that previous bomb was the way OVERPOWERED and unrealistic (harming everyone in the radius except for the SWAT members, lol), it required little to no skill to kill every wanted suspect in the certain radius. I cannot argue with someone who's still supporting the old bomb. Sorry, but still:
Let's see what a SWAT Bomb offers:
- Engine Kill for 5 seconds
- Disarms the driver & passenger.
- Auto freeze/taze the suspect.
- Disables the shock gun effect.
- Auto-eject (if on bike).
All of these just with a single click. Can you please just tell me the ONE single situation on how to encounter this?
replacing it with spikes or smth else is just stupid, if you want spikes then we can make another suggestion to add it too, as a SWAT special weapon ofc. since you didn’t though it twice, spike can be easily countered with a group of Mechanic cophunters, like every cophunt nowadays.
SWAT's main task is to arrest. That's why I mentioned spikes. I hooked up on few servers and saw that they're using road barriers and spikes. Spikes cannot be easily encountered in a car mechanic cophunt, if you know - a mechanic can only fix the vehicle if it's health is below 600 HP, so driver will have to crash vehicle few times before getting his tires repaired. During that, SWAT has the full time to take necessary actions.
SWAT stands for Special Weapons and Tactics, for all those people or kids unaware of what it means, so having special weapons like the bomb is quite normal and realistic for them.
Yep, it's indeed very realistic. One click and boom *engine* *disarms* *freezes* *disables shock gun* *auto-eject* - VERY special weapon.
bomb is also needed in scenarios where there is a big cophunt going on, and If I am soloing for instance in skin, I pretty much cannot /taze and /drag any wanted at all, it would be impossible to stop a cophunt with 5 rioters, so basically this Bomb is used to balance criminals and swats
Lets apply the same situation to the one Criminal. General discussion forum topic is filled with such topics that SWAT bombing them, etc. You can look up yourself there. Even newbies be complaining on removing this bomb. I wonder who changed it back from Kaosx's time.
also, you can just /swatjam by buying a jammer to stop it from deploying, easy solution to it but instead y’all must be lazy and broke to buy it, so nerfing is the only option left
Expected this. Just like SWAT members are lazy to get injections from Hospital, we're as well lazy to get Jammer from Black Market.
Make it available in weapons rack just like SWAT has, and I'm sure there'll be no more complains. Or either shift the SWAT Bomb to a far place like you'll have to visit State office to get bomb or something, I don't know. I'm suggesting the removal of this overpowered shit.
I suppose we should shut down Swat because kids aren’t happy with it, let’s lower Lsrcr average IQ more than it has been lowered lol...
Yeah lets just shut down the whole faction and lower the server IQ because we made a suggestion against SWAT :O --- Avg. Player Base is around 20 to 30 which will also be probably ripped off soon because of game-breaking mechanisms.

You're right here that one has to be really closed to get bombed but SWAT bomb is a game-breaking mechanism, it ruins the gameplay. I'm not saying that a cop hunt has to run non stop or I've to be successful in every escape, all I'm saying is that this bomb has LOTS of destructive features, I'm expecting here only ONE single situation to escape this bomb (once used).

I double-checked before posting this suggestion. I don't even care whatsoever is happening in this community, I don't even play anymore, but I just want this game-breaking element to go away for newbies at least. You can look up yourself General discussion forum where newbies are complaining about this thing. Sorry to say, but these members are not skilled they're used to their OP bomb - they do not even hesitate to use this bomb on a newbie, lol. If a newbie, anyhow car jack someone or changes the car during the chase they would simply use the bomb to kill his engine. What do you think now?

If you play as a criminal in general, I don't think it's likely that you will get SWAT bombed. If you are cophunting, it is definitely more likely. Still, if you are cophunting, there are a lot of ways to counter the SWAT bomb. Evading SWAT or spreading out for instance are good options.
ackman wrote: All of these just with a single click. Can you please just tell me the ONE single situation on how to encounter this?Yes. Staying out of the SWAT bomb radius, or if cophunting, rotate SWAT bomb jammers. In a 1 vs SWAT situation, you should always evade SWAT anyway. If with a team you might be able to take them on.
ackman wrote:They're not.Yes. They are. Whether or not other servers have them doesn't really matter. This has been discussed by SWAT staff and developers multiple times. The fact is a roadblock will always be more effective. It will bring them to a full stop and you can easily pop their tires then.

Snipaxxyy wrote:If we wanted to remove the SWAT bomb then I think we should definitely balance between SWAT & Cop hunters. Let's start, perhaps, with removing mountain bikes completely, removing Blackmarket then we could discuss of removing SSB. We get to face everyday people who ride Mountain Bikes on 300 ping which is literally like superglueing your ass to the mountain bike saddle... although we manage to get them off their bikes they're supplied to teeth with Blackmarket items, different kinds starting from taze reflectors, shock guns, stun bats, cuff kits etc etc... even SSB Jammers which neutralize SSB!I respect your POV and you indeed look correct. I'm not going onto Black Market Items because this market is the START of this whole unbalanced gameplay comparison which I think is too late to complain now. Maybe SSB could be a thing used against Bikers, but not against the cars? Because on the bike there may be a chance to escape but on the car, there's literally no chance. A cop teaming with the SWAT is waiting outside having /cuff id copied.
SSB is not as easy to use as someone who cannot use it would think, we have to get close to the suspect who is probably skipping roads by jumping over walls & buildings, we have to predict their move of which direction they're heading at & the situation where SSB has no use is when they reach to Mulholland and skip roads jumping from one to another and doing that continously. Plus, counting the fact that detonators are very buggy and not everytime we get to detonate our bombs which then will cost us another good 10 minutes chasing the same suspect.
If we wanted to remove SSB then we'll need to balance things, else no.
