Yeah, I don't really understand the benefit of this. Adding the option to permanently allow PMs would help, and we already have /pmg as an alternative to calling.

There are already commands to solve your problem. Join in game, /pmoff and then /allowpm for those who need you. If you want to PM someone whose PMs are off, just put yours off and /allowpm him. He will basically get notification you want to talk to him. Simple as that. Your idea is great, but importance of it is definitely not 9/10, I'd rather say 3/10 or none at all. There are suggestions of bigger importance devs need to work on and not waste time on suggestions like this one that won't effect gameplay for most users.I get your point, and I agree devs have more pressing matters. But that is also a large amount of work every single time we log in. I'm just making a suggestion for a simpler system, nothing more.
CXdur wrote:Yes. And that's a very good idea also. Doesn't eliminate the /r issue, but I'll take something over nothing. At least I tried to make things more interesting.Karu_Tepes wrote:CXdur wrote:I was just trying to come up with something nice... instead of basic. I'm tired of basic.

CXdur wrote:That was the main reason for this suggestion. /r replies to the last person who messaged you or that you messaged. With the whole call feature, you'd be using /c and even if someone else messaged or tried to call you, the call would be stuck on the user you're on the phone with. That was the original intent here: make it so you can talk to a single person without people interrupting.Karu_Tepes wrote:Is there any suggestions as to how that can be eliminated? What do you think is the most user friendly approach here? Would not being able to permanently allow PMs help quite a bit?
