Maybe someone else who had your ID used /allowpm on that specific player before leaving. Once you joined, the server mistook you for that player because of the same ID.

I'm not sure if this is possible though, I'm just guessing. I'll try to see if this is the case

I quickly tested this with the beta tester team and this seems to be the issue.

At least in my case, I never use /allowpm I only use /pmoff and /pmon that's all. This is clearly a bug. And when that specific player leaves and if someone comes with the same ID he isn't able to reach me If i don't /allowpm again

ID 0 /allowpms ID 1

Any player that joins in with ID 1 will be able to PM any player with ID 0. This is the simplest way I can describe the bug.
