2. As for unofficial events, same rule applies. We don't consider unofficial events scams anymore if the other person doesn't honor it. It's up to you whether you enter it or not. You don't lose anything in the end anyway. Unofficial events also include betting (for example: If you predict this I will give you x cash).

The general thumb of rule is; as long as you don't give anything in return/don't lose anything it's not considered scam. That does NOT apply to tagged and ex tagged members though. They should refrain completely from such.
