Why should it be accepted: Since I've come back, one of the updates has made melee weapons not harm someone unless you have a reason to harm them. In theory, it's a fine idea. In practice, it makes every single melee weapon useless. If I have a reason to harm them, im not using a sword, I'm gonna go for the throat with a sawn off. Originally melee DM was always allowed under any circumstance as long as it wasn't done repeatedly with the intent to harrass and wasn't a chainsaw. We should really bring this back, because without it, the sword I bought my VIP for is utter useless. I can't use it to fend off kids with poor english who come at me with police batons (which still harm me for some reason) and it's really making it a pain.
