Suggestion headline: Add
Picture: Keep the picture in this
Spoiler: show
Importance of suggestion: Requested by [Lsrcr]Energ himself
Why should it be accepted: I spoke to [Lsrcr]Energ about Deadly's suggestion and he asked me to make a full proper overhaul suggestion.

So, the idea is to make the medic class more far reaching, useful, and have it's own tasks aside from /heal. Instead of just medics who spawn at a hospital and only have an Ambulance, we should implement a new class of "Rescue" who has that task and more.

Jobs: There would be three tasks for the Rescue class, as follows:

1: MEDICAL: respond to emergency requests from users who use /request medic to heal/cure them. Also, I wouldn't make it instant. I'd make it have a short wait time where health fills up, same as drugs. This way a medic doesn't spam heal someone who spams /request medic to make them invincible.

2: FIRES: While I know actual fire effects don't sync over sa-mp, we can add objects with display fire effects, and give them an overall health bar that be damaged by fire extinguishers or the deck gun (water cannon on the top of a fire engine) which can be spawned. A job that would be randomly appearing, and Rescue would go put it out for cash.

3: Rescue: When a cop realizes they're not really a hero, they call actual heros, the fire department! As a LEO class (which medic already is) Rescue would have access to /cm and get backup calls as well. When going to assist a backup call, Rescue would heal the cops (all cops who are in the area would be healable at the cost of whoever requested the rescue) by doing /heal (id) on each one, as well as provide cover by using the water cannon to pin down suspects. Also, fire apparatus are strong as well, and mostly bulletproof, so a ladder truck provides ALOT of cover for cops needing to hide if they're pinned down.

VEHICLES: Rescue services use many vehicles in our job, so I figured I'd give a short run down of what SA-MP has, and how to use them. Now, any would be able to do the jobs above, but it's nice to have variety.
Fire Engine
Image
The work horse of any fire department, the Fire Engine responds to almost everything. It carries a large amount of tools, onboard water tank, ground ladders, hoses, medical gear, crew, and so on
Fire Truck
(ladder truck)
Image
Yes, there is a difference between a fire engine, and a fire truck. Trucks have the large aerial ladder mounted to the top. It's used mostly for rescues and venting roofs, but does respond to medical calls if the engine is out
Squad
Image
(Yes, you CAN recolor the Enforcer police vehicle and edit it's text to FIRE)
The Rescue Squad is basically a massive rolling toolbox with every tool you can imagine, and many you can't. It's who gets called when even Truck doesn't know what to do.
Rescue
Image
A smaller version of Squad, it's much easier to get to small spaces and contains many tools and most do have some form of water pump and a small tank. Given Utility Van has a ladder, road cones, and so on, it's a perfect fit for this unit.
Now, as a note: Some of these vehicles need to be recolored to red or red/white, and have police lights added. Now, as an 'extra' suggestion, san andreas has corona light effects as objects, which can added just like the policelights and neons we use. It wouldn't be at all bad to see more lights than just /policelights and /neons on these vehicles. You could add plenty of lights, make them very noticable, and also add that update to police, swat, and army

TOOLS: Like any other job, certain tools/commands would be needed. As far as items, Rescue would spawn with chainsaws and fire extinguishers, but would have the following commands:

Flare: Creates a glowing red object that vanishes after 10 minutes

Ladder: either would be like /swatclimb or could spawn an actual ladder they could climb up to reach hard to get to players in need of healing

Heal: would heal the target just like drugs do, but with a progress bar

Cure: Instantly cures chlamydia

CopHeal: instantly heals a single leo if a leo nearby has called for backup at the cost of the callers bank account. Could also make a new command for leo that lets them 'respond' to /backup and anyone who responded can be healed. This would be a thing for healing multiple cops one at a time

Cone: places a road cone for a short time.

Conclusion: I made this suggestion to fit both CNR and Roleplay playstyles. This way we future proof for if we decide to add more roleplay, but this could work for events too. Set up a medical station at Jefferson Riot, put out flares for stunt events, help police shut down cop hunts, and much more.

I truly think this is too complicated for players to understand, that makes them lose interest in the whole gameplay.
I think the idea is good, even though I'd rather that they still be two separate classes, but incase this gets approves, it is better to be simplified, one truck, extinguisher, keep it classic so most players may actually like it and enjoy the gameplay.

Theres no difference between trucks gameplay wise. I only put them for variety. Just like how lspd has lspd, sfpd, lvpd, hpv1000, swat, ranger, enforcer, and police mavarick

What's the logic exactly behind giving Firemen (or rescue class as you called it) the ability to heal people?

Majority of firefighters here are also paramedics, and most paramedics have firefighter training. This is why the CFD, FDNY, LAFD all have ambulances, they're the ones who provide medical services for their cities.
