Removal of Dweap

We literally pay IRL cash and aren't getting anything nearly OP. Free guns on spawn? I can go across the room and get guns, drugs, items, and more from Pagati. Black market items? It's very limited. Items? Again, not hard... the only real OP benefit is the fact I get auto /bc, and again, im BUYING this... remove /dweap, and what's to motivate me to donate? Colored text? No. And if no one donates, the server dies when Energ runs out of money. Nothing in it is OP enough to warrant removing it, it's the best way to get donations, and if you want what it offers... FUCKING BUY IT THEN! No one has ever stopped you from chipping in for the server funding, so toss Energ and CX a dime and get it yourself.

We are open to any suggestions anyone has. While we may not be open on removing vip packet entirely, we are open to suggestions on how to rework it so that it's not completely overpowered.

Karu is right that a lot of people donate for the features of vip packet, so its only fair that they get some benefit from it.

What type of nerfs would you suggest? 5k ammo seems a bit much so it could possibly be reduced.

The difference is dweap weapons arent super OP... it's the same guns, just free. Thats the perk of the donation, I gave money, so I get free guns. I haven't abused it, I haven't used to to gain an ungodly advantage. You donated to give dozens of people free weapons, and they went on to turn the server into a TDM thing with tons of abuse.

The difference is what they are used for, and how many people benefit.

How is it "pay to win" exactly? I get a deagle, combat shotgun, mp5, M4, and sniper... all those can be bought/located in game... I just pay IRL money to get them instantly instead of wasting time gathering them. Now, if I was getting rocket launchers, grenades, miniguns, explosives, rhinos, hydras, and so on... then I would agree it's pay to win. And explain "pay to win" when im clearly not winning... I have suffered alot of LSPD/Army abuse... I'm not winning shit even with dweap

Neutral, I am against removing them but instead, make people pay for the weapons they get at a cheap price. 5k ammo seems too much imo. The ammo should be distributed according to the weapon nature because too much ammo of a particular weapon is useless and lost upon death.

I was afraid the nomenclature of "donator", "DPs", "perks" could be misinterpreted by players, and it was/is. The donation is to help the server keep running, and the motivation to donate should be that alone. I agree with rewarding those that donate, but that can be done in non-gameplay, cosmetic ways (ranks on forum, messages in game thanking a current donator, sponsored admin events with donators' names, etc).

How it is interpreted now:
- donation ~ reimbursable paid feature rental
- donator ~ reimbursable paid feature renter

How it is/should be interpreted:
- donation ~ non-reimbursable expense to help the server keep running
- donator ~ someone that's donated 1+ times

This is a very good statement by Rally here and I agree with him. Donations should solely be seen to keep the server we all play, alive. If you have spare cash and are able to keep the lights on it's very much appreciated - we reward people with a perk but these perks should not be seen as the be-all and end-all of the donation, it's a donation not a purchase.

On the subject of /dweap the upcoming changes to the server remove the Black Market Items from the list in an attempt to balance the system.

Note that this has been suggested before, to remove /dweap but it was denied multiple times but we will review the suggestion nonetheless as there are plans to update the donation shop. The VIP packet and jail cards are the most donated for items we have.
