Where does the bug appear: Server
When did the bug appear: Unknown
Describe the bug: ISP Level security VPNs cause disconnects
Frequency: Unknown
Severity: Major
Steps to reproduce: Been getting this since I decided to get my own wifi. The router itself changes it's IP Address as a security measure against DDOS and other malicious attacks, but the server doesn't recognize it and so it desyncs, disconnects, and even continuously logs me out on forums. Not sure if this can be fixed, but it's rather annoying that I'm paying for a wifi I can't use on the server.
SA-MP (and most other type of game servers) is designed on a single IP throughout the whole game session. it's needed because certain attacks which I won't go into detail of can take place, or the server just can't trust your connection anymore. This normally results in you disconnecting from the server.
By the way, I think you mean your Local IP is changing frequently, which is fine and shouldn't give problems. Your Public IP is always the same, which is the IP we rely on. If you have set up your router to change your Public IP address frequently (with a VPN), then we can't help you. That's not something any game server supports that I have seen.
What I'm trying to point at here is we do not support this kind of connection. The only thing relating to VPNs we can do is allowing you through with a VPN connection (that is static), which you should discuss with a senior.
