Why is this not a base level feature like SWAT?You're right to wonder, but there is a reason behind it. Army ground vehicles in Ls-rcr are designed more for heavy combat and durability, not for fast response or law enforcement, like SWAT. That’s why they don’t come with sirens or emergency lights by default. SWAT's purpose is more about intervention, arrests and chases.

It's more like a National Guard, and they actually do have lights and sirens it's just very rare they use them. Fun fact, the Barracks (large military truck) in game HAS a siren as default. Even in single player. Personally, with the number of lighting objects in the game, I wouldn't mind seeing a member of the dev team willing to do a "Lights and Sounds" update for SWAT, Army, and Pagati (we could use some red only lights for a few ideas I have) and could even add some corona lights to the LSPD and such.July 14, 2025, 2:46 amKaru_Tepes wrote: Wait, are you telling me army ground vehicles DONT have lights and sirens? Hence, the lights/sirens as standard. Army is more about pushing battles, so utility > visual signals. Still, could be cool to have as a toggle option!

Army does lean more toward a National Guard-style setup, and yeah, some default GTA vehicles like the Barracks do come with sirens. But functionally, those features are rarely used, especially with how the Army role evolved here. A 'Lights & Sounds' update across SWAT, Army, and Pagati would actually be amazing, it'd add immersion and give factions more identity.
