I never had the tag myself but having played so long and seeing such a core part of lsrcr gone felt weird, I'd like to see it back. Obviously it was removed due to some tagged members being arrogant so maybe it could be brought back just with tighter requirements so less people have it and only the really well known ones.

I agree with this suggestion. Bringing back the LSRCR tag would be a positive move for the server. It motivates players to behave better and be more respectful in public since the tag represents a good and well-behaved player. It also gives players an extra goal to work towards, not just joining a main faction, but actually earning a tag through good behavior and achievements. Overall, it would help restore part of the server’s identity and encourage a healthier community.

I think we have explained many times why the tag was removed and why it won't come back

I mean we sort of removed the tag because it didn't really serve a purpose other than to create a division within the community. It was elitist in its nature. It felt like people wanting to become part of a 'cool club'. Over the years it drifted apart from its core meaning. And I think it's very difficult to bring its value back. I actually raised this with the seniors a few times over the past year and even though I personally thought it might be a good idea and used some of the arguments here, the more we talked about, the more I realized the other seniors are correct

If we decide to bring back the tag it will either become even more elitist than it once was, which would mean higher standards and requirements / picking process, or it could become the opposite, a completely worthless few letter symbol behind your name that everyone in the server gets. We were criticized for this in the past. We would reject players over and over again, but eventually admins would feel sorry for a specific player and accept their application. Or you would have players messaging admins and seniors why they were rejected, have them write leaving topics after being frustrated for their rejection and so on

On the surface it may look like it is a good idea as it could promote people to work for something, and it feels rewarding, but in reality it's a flawed concept that faded away throughout the years
