Your name: [Lsrcr]Bear Suggestion headline: Improvement for taxi class
-Add checkpoint where the NPC is located
= I’m not very familiar with the locations yet since the checkpoints or map markers only appear when I’m already near the NPC or client. It would really help if there was a checkpoint or marker on the mini-map showing the NPC/client location as a guide. For example, if the NPC requests a pickup in Queens, I know it’s in San Fierro, but I don’t know the exact location of Queens.
-Add additional time for pick up
=For example, if the taxi driver is currently in Los Santos while the NPC client is located in Queens, the allotted time is not enough, especially since taxis are relatively slow vehicles. As shown in the attachment, I was only given 4 minutes to pick up the client, which is practically impossible considering I was using a taxi and starting from Los Santos. Additionally, I’m not familiar with the exact location of Queens in San Fierro, making it even more difficult to reach the pickup point on time.
Importance of suggestion: 7/10 Why should it be accepted: This suggestion should be considered because it would greatly improve the overall gameplay experience, especially for players who are still unfamiliar with the map and locations. Not every player has memorized every area in San Andreas, particularly specific places such as Queens in San Fierro. Adding proper checkpoints or mini-map markers for NPC/client locations would provide players with better guidance and reduce confusion during missions or jobs.
In addition, the current time limit for taxi jobs can sometimes feel unfair, especially when the driver starts from a far location like Los Santos while the passenger is in San Fierro. Taxi vehicles are not designed to be extremely fast, so expecting players to reach distant pickup points within only a few minutes creates an unrealistic challenge. This can discourage players from continuing the job because failure becomes unavoidable rather than skill-based.
Accepting this suggestion would make the system more balanced, beginner-friendly, and enjoyable for everyone. It would improve fairness, reduce frustration, and encourage more players to participate in taxi-related activities without feeling disadvantaged by map knowledge or impossible time limits
