San Andreas Aviation Organization

~History~

In 2009, Fourth_Horseman has started becoming addicted to the joys of flying in LS-RCR. After a while, he thought "why not share this fun with everyone else?", and thus the San Andreas Aviation Organization was born. Huge amounts of time and effort was put into it, with multiple linking threads. The players of LS-RCR were educated and trained on how to expand the ways that they can have fun with flying in GTA:SA.

Eventually, the group became an official LS-RCR group (the only one to reach this status for a long time, until 2011).
Fourth_Horseman got forum banned for a prank that back-fired to him, and his co-leader, Ryan, decided to take over.
Eventually, due to dispute between the owner and co-owner, SAAO was closed, and a group like it was never made again.

In 2010, Fourth_Horseman decided the LSRCR Army Aviations Unit, which focused on turning rookie soldiers into elite pilots, and after a while the group was also closed due to the difficulties in having Fourth_Horseman training all army members in aviation.

November 2011, with a 4 month break ahead of him, Fourth_Horseman decided to update his SA:MP client and logged into LS-RCR. He quickly jumped on a Shamal, Dodo and then a Stunt Plane for a good 3 hours before logging out. It is the same feeling, the same joy and freedom, the same skills, the same stunts, the same techniques, the same talent. Fourth_Horseman decided that SAAO shall have its second reign. And this time, it will be like never before.

~About Us~

The San Andreas Aviation Organization will accept players of any level of skills in GTA SA flying. We will teach them all the required knowledge, and train them to be competent pilots and support crew. We will spend a specific amount of our time, effort and ingame money to allow ourselves to improve our skills and knowledge in aviation. Together, we will achieve our goal of being the best in all of LS-RCR and even all of SA:MP, whilst still having great fun.

So what's new?
The San Andreas Aviation Organization will now:
- give members the choice to specialise in 1) normal aircrafts, 2) VTOL aircrafts, or even 3) both!
- have greater focus in formation flying
- emphasise the importance of using aviation language and jargon
- split members into specific squads, based on timezone and preferences
- teach low altitude drivebys
- have normal ranks, along with a special ranking system
- provide better air support escorts for other groups and/or events
- provide excellent air shows for all to enjoy
- use Team Speak to allow better communication while having full control of aircrafts

~Rules~
1. Abide by all LS-RCR ingame and forum rules at all times
2. Always listen to your superiors
3. Respect each other
4. Do not rob/rape/kill while playing as a SAAO pilot
5. Use the Air Support skin when flying (relates to 4)
6. Study everything there is to know about SAAO
7. Practice at least once a day
8. Do not cause harm to fellow pilots and their aircrafts
9. Share all your knowledge and experiences to the whole group
