Why do bad things happen to good people then?
One man, who lived his whole life fairly, prayed to the God everyday, his family loved him, he had a nice job etc.
gets cancer. If he stays strong and if he continues to pray everyday, he will "defeat" the illness he haves.
But if he stops to pray if he starts thinking negative about his life, the illness will defeat him.

Sk1pper wrote:Alright, fine. Football is also a dangerous sport if you don't know what you're doing. You could break a leg (yours, or someone else's) if you're unaware. Your son wants to play football. Would you deprive him of it or would you tell him to be careful?
He will be attracted to that "safe" hoby from his youth. He'll be skateboarding without any pads or a helmet in the future when he's a teenager and that will bring many complications to his and my life. Why make a child suffer at a sport he enjoys, when you can show him something like football or basketball, which are much more less dangerous.

The human brain sculpted the universe, the human brain created itself, and all living things, by simply 'thinking positively'?
He did. He even started walking. That's what the the energy of the universe is capable of. The man didn't believe in god, he only thought positive and made his problems go away, made his brain think the opposite of what the doctors have.

Don't make it like that. You'll name every sport dangerous, we just have to choose from the safest ones. Breaking a leg in football ( I meant soccer btw ) is not that easy. You'd have to play with a stone ball probably. I'm aware of the dangers and would wish my child only the best. Everything would be taken under consideration.
Just read this example. Got it out of a really good book.
Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca: Imagine you had an eight-year-old son… would you love him?
Lieutenant Chatrand: Of course.
Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca: Would you let him skateboard?
Lieutenant Chatrand: Yeah, I guess. Sure I’d let him skateboard, but I’d tell him to be careful.
Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca: So as this child’s father, you would give him some basic, good advice and then let him go off and make his own mistakes?
Lieutenant Chatrand: I wouldn’t run behind him and mollycoddle him if that’s what you mean.
Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca: But what if he fell and skinned his knee?
Lieutenant Chatrand: He would learn to be more careful.
Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca: So although you have the power to interfere and prevent your child’s pain, you would choose to show you love by letting him learn his own lessons?
Lieutenant Chatrand: Of course. Pain is part of growing up. It’s how we learn.
Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca: Exactly.
I still do not want my child to become a skateboarder. He'll get attracted to this sport and in the future you cannot prevent injuries because this sport might be deadly on every corner. Why choose skateboarding when you can show him other hundreds of things to do.
Imagine if God answered every single person's prayer. People would do nothing, they would be spineless and rely completely on God. And imagine if God didn't answer any prayers. People would lose hope, become in denial, and in the long run lose their faith. So God answers some prayers, just enough to keep us going. Again, just because it hasn't happened to you, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
I could tell you the same about the energy of the universe.

You don't get the point.....You won't become him instantly or the next day. You have to take step by step in life, firstly look positively on things you currently have around yourself. Becoming the president is the end of the line, the maximum you can reach. There is much more to do before that and you have to stay positive about what you are doing and you will reach the goal you're headed to. It's not like you sit on a couch and think positively and say "I'll be the president", you have to work too.

No. There are limits of course. Don't put it out to a universe dimension, you're talking nonsense just to take down my opinion.

And read the book The Power of Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy and then you will understand those things better.

You'd have to play with a stone ball probably. I'm aware of the dangers and would wish my child only the best. Everything would be taken under consideration. You don't play much football then. It's extremely easy to get injured. You would let him play then, and 'wish him the best'. When he gets injured, he'll learn. He'll get experienced. He won't make the mistake again. If God didn't let us approach anything that's dangerous, and didn't let us learn on our own, we'd be doomed. This is why God doesn't answer each prayer. This is the way humans learn.
I still do not want my child to become a skateboarder. He'll get attracted to this sport and in the future you cannot prevent injuries because this sport might be deadly on every corner. Why choose skateboarding when you can show him other hundreds of things to do.No offence, but your imaginary child won't be a very independent person in the future. If you don't let him try things on his own, he won't grow, he won't learn. God has the same mentality, he doesn't want us to be completely dependant on him, but when things that we cannot control happen, we'll go to God and pray.
I could tell you the same about the energy of the universe. What is the energy of the universe? Is it a concept you've just thought of or have you believed in it for a while?

No. There are limits of course. Don't put it out to a universe dimension, you're talking nonsense just to take down my opinion.I'm not. You're replacing God with this energy. God made this universe, what has the energy done?
