There is no exception. I highly doubt that someone with a right mind has not yet sinned. Jesus was sacrificed for that. When He died, He carried all of our sins and made a way, the only way, for us to go to heaven.I have. But how is it the only way? Couldn't we have managed on our own? Repenting after sinning seems to work for Muslims, I don't see why a human being had to be tortured. The Bible says Jesus was crucified, the Quran says he was replaced with a double. Honestly, not just saying this because I'm a Muslim, but the latter story makes more sense. If Jesus really was crucified, people would idolize him, they'd even go to the extent of forgetting God and praying to Jesus. All the Christians I know, they all swear by Jesus, they pray to him, they call him the son of God.. How could God, the one who was not born and had no children, have a son?

Moose wrote:Repenting after sinning seems to work for Muslims,Yes, we 'Christians' also repent after sinning. But of course we do not sin intentionally knowing that we can get away with it after repenting. We are also human. We sin. And we apologize for it.

You have to have faith in God. You have to believe Him. And with that comes believing that Jesus sacrificed himself to pay for our sins so that we can go to heaven. So any sin I do now, I'm forgiven for it because Jesus died for me? (assuming I'm a Christian, dunno if he died for Muslims lol)
We can't, unless we're perfect, which we aren't.But Muslims don't have anyone that died for them, they don't have anyone to use as a connection between them and God, it's just them, their work, and God. If you sin, and you truly regret it, and you vow not to do it again, you're forgiven.
Jesus was tortured because He was the "King of Jews" which the Romans have misinterpreted and thought He was going to lead a rebellion which would be a problem for them therefore they had Him crucified. Not familiar with the full story, probably the same in the Quran.
I'm not too familiar with Muslim beliefs. Though I want to hear it.Islam acknowledges 3 heavenly religions: Islam, Christianity, and Judaism, along with their prophets (Muhammad, Jesus, and Moses), and their books (The Quran, The Bible, and The Torah). Two of the factors of faith are to believe in God's prophets, and in his books. According to the Quran, Jesus wasn't crucified, he was replaced with a double, and he was sent to heaven. He's now there, waiting for Judgement Day, so he can come back and destroy the (dunno what the guy is called, it's A'awar al Dajjal in Arabic, I think he's the Antichrist?) EDIT: Yep, Antichrist: al-Masih ad-Dajjal (Arabic: المسيح الدجّال al-Masīḥ ad-Dajjāl, Arabic for "the false messiah") (Wiki)
God would not send Jesus on earth if He knew that people would abandon Him and worship His Son instead. When He was still alive here on earth, Jesus preached and taught people many things. And these people that heard Him preach believed in Him and followed His beliefs. And He said that He would be resurrected and He even showed Himself to His disciples after His earthly death and His disciples spread the word.Wouldn't he? God works in ways we cannot comprehend. He probably wouldn't, but kinda has, hasn't he? Jesus was sent, and I do see people resorting to Jesus instead of God.. I dunno mate.
You are just like me Muse men. Not to brag but everyone said that I was exceptional. I am quite "smart" for a normal person and because of that I think. The more I think, the more I doubt God's existence. Even now, I still have those doubts. I keep thinking because that's just me. I can also see me in you, Moose. Also Sk1pper & Hobo & Ribery & other peeps. I cannot explain it myself, but I will just use quotes from peeps:You are smart. I've doubted myself a few times, you gotta have faith and overcome.
"The problem with the wise is they are so filled with doubts while the dull are so certain." - Bertrand Russell
"I believe though I do not comprehend, and I hold by faith what I cannot grasp with the mind." -Saint Bernard
"Fight to escape from your own cleverness. If you do, then you will find salvation and uprightness through Jesus Christ our Lord." -John Climacus
