In jail you have a chance of being released.. And if they were to execute him, I think they wouldn't have a problem of making it slow and painful as much as they could.

Breivik doesn't have shit to do with Al-Qaeda or religious extremists at all. I don't think an Islamic extremist would send Nazi salutes in the courtroom. You have probably just been exposed to American propaganda trying to make you believe that terrorists = muslims.
