Question to Muslims

Lately i've heard a lot of muslims curse with "may Allah destroy you" or "may Allah do this or that to you"
Question is,why?
Why do you say that? I thought god was god of love,and muslims were peaceful.
Can somebody answer?

Indeed cursing people isnt a good attribute, centrality not befitting a muslim. Yes, one is allowed to curse, though Allah teaches us not to. I have to be short in my answer, but a far more detailed answer can be given on this subject. Please note that this is my answer, not an answer from a scholar nor speaking on behalf of all the muslims.

First Allah teaches us to say good to people: It is stated in the Qur`an in chapter 2, Allah speaks about the believers and their qualities: "Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good;-"

And there are many verse which Allah has made clear with that they should forgive others. Like this one in chapter 45: "Tell those who believe, to forgive those who do not look forward to the Days of Allah: It is for Him to recompense (for good or ill) each people according to what they have earned." (Qur'an 45:14)

So Allah teaches us to forgive. Yet Allah has stated in the Qur`an, in chapter 5: "Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary: because they disobeyed and persisted in excesses." (Al-Ma’idah 5: 78).

Yet the other verse clearly tell the believers to forgive, whilst the last one speaks of what has taken place. Verily the Prophet use to pray for his enemies and those who hated him and hurt him. In his biographie you can read how he forgave his enemies, iwen those who killed his loved ones.

Hope this gives you a clear answer on what the islam tells the believers to do, and by example of the life of the messenger (May Allah`s peace and blessings be with him). What the muslims do doesnt portray what the faith is saying.

I think when they say that they have offended or did something wrong to the religion or cursed something like that.
But they also say May Allah guide you, or Heal or something like that. But ill update this post soon.

Out of 100 muslims,only heard 1 or 2 saying "may Allah guide you" when something comes in conflict with their point of view of religious belief.
Others cuss,curse,flame or try to start a fight (which will end pretty badly for them if they do)

Well like teenagers today they use the name OF Allah to make promises, and even the WEIRDEST promises. ( i know it because
ive heard very weird things ) I still need your time to wait.

Wallah is something what turkish people say arab say it diffeent, every muslim says it diffrent but back to the point.
It means like "i promise" or "I swear". Ive heard many muslim people say that in the weird situations.

You promise in the name of Allah. But ive never sweared on something, its not just a name you can swear on.
Still people dont mind in that.

I'm not but I know them well. I'm still trying to get my muslim friends to
stop hating j.ews. It's a tough battle but I love them so I'll continue to help.
What they don't understand is that each race (except Caucasian because
they naturally feel superior to all other races) has been put through a ton of
scrutiny by other races to make them hate that race. God says you CANNOT
ENTER HEAVEN with hate in your heart.. Get it yet? The devil made all these
things happen so Arabic ppl are mad at j.ews. The J.ews are mad at Germans,
The blacks are mad at the whites. It's just a trick that simple minded humans
fall for and if you hate anyone for any reason and you don't forgive them and
move on you go to HELL. I love my Muslim friends and I understand they hate
j.ews but they don't understand they will go to HELL if they die hating ANYONE.

"Father forgive them for they know not what they do."
Didn't Jesus say that while he was being tortured on that cross?

Thanks for taking your time to answer,yes the Islamic teachings dont teach cussing and cursing,but there are only a few people who actually do as what the teachings says.
