Introduction

Hello and welcome to the LTS Official Page. We are a small private company that aims towards providing quick, safe and affordable means of transportation around San Andreas. We are based in Los Santos, but we make trips to San Fierro and Las Venturas if needed.

Founded by johnny911 and later inherited by Moose, LTS, (then called Red Dawn Transportation Services), started as a small-time cab company based in a small Gas station in East Los Santos. Since then, we have expanded our services to Taxis, Limos, and Helicopters.

We are currently recruiting drivers, since all our drivers were unexpectedly and unintentionally let go due to technical difficulties due to the forum crash.

If you think you have the requirements and are qualified for the job, please apply below.

August 10th, 2011: After a series of issues with inactivity and the fact that the idea isn't very interesting, LTS has been revived once again, aiming to become the successful business it used to be in it's prime.

The Means of Transportation
This section is dedicated to showing you (the customer or the driver) the variety of our vehicles.

-'Cabbie'

The Cabbie, based on the Checker Marathon, is generally slower and heavier than its more modern counterpart, the Taxi. Its handling is also inferior; the vehicle is somewhat unstable under heavy cornering, and its wobbly suspension can make it prone to rolling over, especially when driving at high speeds. These factors make the Cabbie a poor choice for the taxi driving industry, where speed is critical. Some drivers, however, favor its rear-wheel drive, which is more capable of powersliding in corners. Also if the player knows how to control the Cabbie, it's large V8 engine can be potent in a fast getaway. The Cabbie is also more capable of off-roading than the modern Taxi.

-'Taxi'

With moderate speed, moderate acceleration, light construction, moderate endurance, capable steering and stable cornering, the Taxi is generally an acceptable vehicle to drive. The vehicle is also front wheel drive, reducing the chances of tailspins when cornering and allowing the vehicle to perform 180-degree turns backwards or forward with ease.

-'Stretch' (Limo)

Being a large, multi-passenger vehicle with an extended drive axle due to its length, this vehicle is slow and lumbering despite its powerful V8 and rear-wheel drivetrain. Its length makes it difficult to maneuver through tight spaces and around corners at high speed, and its suspension is too soft, contributing to body roll. Its ability to absorb damage is not particularly impressive either, making the Stretch more of a specific-use vehicle, or a status-grabber, and a generally poor choice for primary transportation, or for evading cops. Unfortunately, it can only fit three passengers.

-'Maverick' (Heli)

The Maverick is based on the Bell 206 L Longranger. It has a moderate maximum speed, 4 doors/seats, and can survive some damage.[/i]

The Cabbie and Stretch can both be found at Taxi Spawn. (Airport parking lot)

Codes
Designed to make life easier, you can (and should) use these codes on /tm while on duty.

- (id) - (1 - If you are going for them, 2 - If they are in the car, 3 - When you dropped them off.)
Example: ID 12 called for a /taxi. You say 12 - 1, to indicate that you are going to pick them up. When you arrive, you say 12 - 2, indicating that you've picked them up with no problems, and that you're now heading towards the destination. When you arrive at the requested destination, you say 12 - 3.

- R.T.B ((Return To Base)) - You are returning to the base, which is temporarily at the carpark of the mechanic spawn.

- D.T - ((Dont Trust)) - (id) -(Reason)
Example: You know that ID 16 cannot be trusted from previous experience. You say DT 16 to warn other drivers. This is only to be used seriously.

- S.B ((Standing By)) - You are waiting for a call out

- L.B ((Lunch Break)) - You are heading to 24/7 or the bank or anywhere else where it doesn't have something to do with your duty.

- A.O ((Accident Occurred)) - Your car has got destroyed, or something is preventing you from doing your job.

- PNS ((Pay 'n Spray)) - You need to go get fixed.

You must abide by these codes incase anyone else is in the taxi chat and going to try steal your customer. You must be standing by to take a call out, as we will have turns so it is not mixed up. After you have delivered a customer, return to the base and wait for another call out.
