Suggestion: Add a special training officers for applicants who are looking into improving their skills before aplying for S.W.A.T
Reasons: This will be seen as useless also irritant but if you see it from another way, is useful for us & for applicants to stay with Quality & Quantity balanced.

First training System:

S.W.A.T members may be selected to be an Applicant training officer otherwise volunteers might have a chance to join this section.
Members who are part of the special applicant's training may have a mark on their name in S.W.A.T's memberlist & their GMT, example:
Corporal:
Swat's corporal[AT][GMT:-3)

Once we have enough applicant's training officers, they will be able to receive PMs in-game from players who want to train before Applying for S.W.A.T, Applicant's training officers will be able to train by their own way & those who wants to be trained will be able to chose their skill to improve.

Second training System:

Volunteers/selected members of the team to be part of Applicants Training Officers will receive the same privileges as in the first system, their mark as Trainers & their GMT, a subforum should be added where players can Sign up to the special training sections using a format such as the example below:
Code: Select all
In-game Name:
GMT:
Which skills would you like to train/improve:
Once we have around 5 players who want to train/improve their skills by asking S.W.A.T members for help, Trainers are able to select a specific hour with a certain GMT for their sections & also a Highest Trainer position may assign a player for every Trainer depending on their GMT. (Click the spoiler for an explanation)

With this i finish my suggestion, there are more ways to make a system of training applicants but since i made this alone is a bit hard to think on details, i've made 2 Systems which from my point of view are the most useful, with less obstacles, quick & efficent in many ways.
Thanks for reading.

EDIT: Spelling.

I'm not really how good this is really, because if you'd like to have some training you can usually go ahead and try asking SWAT members to help you out (Should probably ask higher ranks as they have more experience in SWAT and such) and I'm sure they'd help you. I myself usually help players from time to time when asked and I've seen Kaosx helping out as well but I guess this would make the point clearer. I'd like to see other opinions.

Felt like answering/replying (with all the respect):
Yeah, players have been asking S.W.A.T. members for help to improve but i bet that if there is no S.W.A.T. member online, they refuse due to the time or because they aren't on mood and more, So if we count the players who help applicants training i can almost be 100 percent sure that we aren't more of 7 incluiding myself, that is why i think the System would be good, also this System's Officers requirement is high, basically the most experienced players can be part of the Training officer & accomplish the duties as it should be, no more problems from part of the players who think:
'But if he is inexperienced, if he is bad with shooting, he got denied X times because his test was bad, i want a friend to train me but he is bad too'
Reasons are many.

I thought that warrant officers already did this, I know that Kaosx did with Invisible the other day.

I think it's a nice suggestion but I think that you might be overdoing it a bit.

Seems very complicated and time-consuming. I like the intentions behind this but I think it won't be effective due to its expanded nature such as with the applicant training officers. We already have applicant training officers: simply all SWATs that like to help out the applicants in our current team! I still think the best way to train for SWAT is the classics - teaming with SWATs, practicing your cmds on notepad (I don't do that lol), shooting wheels from a car hood, dueling good players, driving with friends etc. For the dedicated, many options are available - you just need to find them.

EDIT: I'm sure there's enough helpful SWAT members for all applicants to be satisfied (from all timezones). You could also pm a SWAT you're interested to train with.

The problem is no one asks to be trained so adding a rank which will not be used much is pointless. Over the time I've been asked like 3 times to help/advice applicants and I've helped them. I'm sure any member would help in any way they can.

Exactly, all SWAT members are bound to help at least a little. :D
