Why should it be accepted: Hey, it's Christmas soon and winter break so I thought of a cool gift for players, motivating them to chill on the server more. This idea can be a seasonal addition (such as winter) or it could be a permanent add-on to the server.

Concept

I thought of a 'Mystery Box' that would be a bunch of presents in one place. It would be placed in a popular place like Idlewood Pizza. Other locations include: Los Santos Airport, PD, Grotti etc. This box would give out a big gift to a lucky person once in a while. However, to open the box you need a special key that is really rare.

How to get the key?
- The key will spawn once every 2 hours and when there is over 70 players on the server. The key can be anywhere on the map (e.g.: LS countryside, SF bay hills, LV desert, LV city etc.) except underwater and it will stay up for 20 minutes and disappear if not found, after it goes away it will respawn in 2 hours.
- You can get a key from an admin if you win a really big event.
- The key can be robbed from another player /rob.
- You can't donate for the key.

Ok, I got the key so now what?
Dude you better run for the box in Idlewood because anyone can /rob your key! That's right - no wallet will protect you. If you leave the server you lose the key and the key drop time restarts. If you don't bring back the key in 20 minutes, you lose it which would reduce camping. Be careful for the robbers waiting at the box though!

What prizes can the box give when unboxed?
- Common prizes would be: 1$ - 3mil, 1-2 jail cards
- Rarer prizes would be: 1-2 dp, shop items (e.g.: car neons, parrot, hats, DD ticket)

To open the box you can go to where it is and press "F". If you don't have the key a message will pop up "You don't have the mystery key" and the state of the key will be shown to you on a menu: spawned, unknown, [Lsrcr]Name has it etc. Once someone picks up the key they get a message and the whole server gets a message "[Lsrcr]Name has found the mystery key.", same for when the key gets robbed.

Pros
- Fun and rewarding
- Makes the server much more active
- Key robbing will be fun
- You don't know what you will get from the box!

Against
- Not needed as we have enough rewards
- Increases spam - e.g. road spam, chat spam etc.
- Takes effort to add to the game

On that time, When they add the Christmas mod into Server, All of the players are just going to get the gift boxes. And those who ain't doing that, They've no idea about the situation. Therefor, The main point of server will be "Find the key, Get the Prize".
If there is a way to control that, I mean controlling players not to only going after they key and boxes and server goes normally, Then It will be a good addition to server but otherwise, I'll vote a big -1.

However, For a limited time like 2 weeks (Only for Christmas), I think it's fine!

Yeah I agree, that's why I said it could be only a seasonal thing. The key is like any other pickup (e.g.: SF tied cops) so it can be controlled, btw players will sometimes give up on searching and they'll go back to their jobs. I do see your point though, it should only be a seasonal thing or when admins feel like putting it on.

-1 for a wallet will not protect you, if you get a key you should be able to protect it, to much people out there that will use the keys as a troll and just present hurt all day everyday, and it would just really annoy you
