GeForce 820M is not a good video card for gaming. It doesn't matter if it has 2048 MB of GPU, because it's running on 64bit, which is the Memory Bus Width.

If you want to buy a great video card, make sure that it has at least 256 Bus Width.

I guess you're using a notebook, you're going to struggle to run a lot of games really, especially titles such as GTA V - even after the immense optimisation.

I run GTA 5 on my laptop
4 gb ram
Nvidia GT 710M - 1 GB
i3 3217u 1.8 ghz dual core
Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit
