Why should we accept this: Because we have it on PC but not on our phones. And we used to have it on the old forum.

It depends on your Phone display size. It'll be visible if your phone resolution is fitting with the template.

The website is formatted to work on all resolutions. Sometimes we have to sacrifice things like this to allow the load time and to allow the website to function correctly on all resolutions. I think it's fine the way it is as you can still see if a topic has been read or not.
