I'm [Lsrcr]Guntimer, also known as your average nobody (or at least I refer to myself as one). I'm also one of the administrators here in Ls-rcr. I tend to host a large amount of events, and people tend to enjoy them (even though some don't). However, I'm here to clarify one thing:
Administrators are NOT required to make events for the community.
This is something we do for the fun of the community, and to get everyone together. Make new friends, hell, make new enemies. Just get together, is all we're asking. The issue rises with poor, toxic, daunting, repulsive attitudes that come from a few of our players.
Sitting there and calling one of our events lame doesn't make you look cool. You know what DOES make you look cool? When you don't like the event, and you simply leave instead of bashing the administrator hosting it.
Oh, and if you say something like... "I hate this event" or "this event sucks" or anything along those lines, then you turn around and "/ask can I host event? I'll give 1m prize", the answer is going to be no.
I'm tired of trying to put on fun events for people, just for them to be bashed by know-it-alls in the community that think they've got it going on because their mother went and upgraded their mouse for them. Hate it so much? Don't participate, but don't sit there and insult people for trying to enjoy themselves. Show some respect because if this doesn't stop, I'll flat out stop hosting events. Being a douchebag gets you no where. Go be miserable on your own.
Thanks,
Your very own,
