Insta Arrest: If you saw a criminal on foot, then you have more then 90% chances to arrest him. Pretype the /taze command on him. Then Copy the /cuff command on him. Run to him fast, taze him 3 times and paste the /cuff command. Do not type /ar yet. Wait for 2-3 seconds to make sure he doesn't /breakcuffs and then /ar him. This tactic is a really easy one.
Vortex: Oh well, i have seen so many cops getting killed by a vortex and i made up 3 tactics about how to escape it. If you are teaming with some friends, the person which is driving the car, MUST stay to far away form the vortex, while your teammates are shooting at it. If you go close to it, your car is fucked. If you are alone, try to find any higher place then the vortex, by going with your helicopter, bike etc. This is the best way. After you go to a high place, keep shooting the vortex. Now i have seen a lot criminals do a big mistake. They leave the vortex, to shoot you. If they leave the vortex, they are fucking dead/arrested. Pretype /taze and copy /cuff. If they leave the vortex, make sure they are far away from it and fall into the vortex. Try to at least. Then taze them, cuff them, make sure that they don't do break cuffs and then arrest. The other tactic is when you can't climb anything. This is a dangerous way and it doesn't work all of the times. Anyways try to run at the back of the vortex, when the bullets can't catch you. Then try to jump to it. If you can't, carjack the guy in the vortex and if you do so, you have a secure arrest.
Heliblade: I know you hate heliblading, but it is really easy to escape from it. Simply don't shoot at the helicopter while he is close to you. When he is close to you, try to run at any bulding, or any place which the helicopter cant fit. After he is to far away from you, shoot him. This tactic, doesn't have a lot chances giving you an arrest, but a kill.
Sniper: This tactic needs a lot patience. Many times criminals are as snipers and snipering you. Do not try to snipe them as well, because you have 90% chances of dying. I suggest to hide in a place and keep waiting and waiting. The criminal will probably have a car and or a heli or a bike. Call for backup and when the criminal stops sniping, its your turn to snipe him.
Cophunt: If some criminals are cophunting and you are solo, it will be hard for you to get all of them. Anyways, DO NOT GO WITH A BIKE/CAR to them. It will get you killed. I suggest taking a helicopter and heliblading them all at the top of the car. This worked for me only once.
Bikers: Ugghhh i hate bikers, anyways what you gotta do is that you shouldn't try to make them fall. Just snipe their body and shoot it, till they die. I know it is hard.
Driveby Shooting: You know when someone is next to you with a car and shooting you with his tec9. A lot cops fail with this, but it is really easy. Simply jump on the top of the car and you wont get damaged by any bullet.

Doing these tactics, doesn't mean that you are a perfect cop yet. No one is perfect. Also i gotta say that you shouldn't be mad after you die, but you should give a care and not repeat the same mistake again. Do not rush b to the criminals, but always thing and win the way of making him fail. Do not insult/flame when you get killed. Keep trying and trying. It's okay that you die. Just don't give up.

If you are provoking a guy to get wanted than then you aren't playing as cop right. You just simply wait till players gets wanted, you pick a target who is wanted than persue the victim, get close enough than /taze id /cuff id than /ar id

Often people will preload a command, I usually preload /taze and /cuff so I can at least have some time to type /ar


It's worked for me the few times I've played as alone.
