Why should it be accepted: What we currently know is that Greatsan was just banned yesterday for sending out virus and malware links, yet all he got was tag removal and temporary banned. That leads me to this: there should be harsher punishments for sending out malicious files of any sort.

Specifically, anyone who sends out malicious files should automatically have their IP address no longer authorized to access anything related to LSRCR. Repeat offenses should call for an IP range ban, if other people within his area do the same thing should call for an internet service provider ban, if many people from his country get caught breaking this rule LSRCR should be blocked completely in that country.
Dude situations like this depends on the case itself and the guy's history, attitude, etc also greatsan had a tag and the tag protects you of some permenant bans, also why should we ban a whole country of some idiot's mistake? If you say so we muslims should all die because some people naming out theirselves as muslims and killing people? Please...
When we hit our lowest point we are open to the greatest change.

If you had tag, you should be banned permanently before a non-tagged user, just sayin'.

What were your intentions after sending the malicious file over the Forum? To help someone?
You're trying to help someone with a cracked version of something, apparently it contains a virus. In this way you can accidentally send someone harmful files.
Those things are not allowed to give via Forums or at least I think so. Sharing those things via public Forums is illegal by the court as far as I know.
there have been many topics where people ask "give me the cracked version of , GTA SA, CS:GO GTA V etc" people often post the links in the PMs. Not every website is put on the Internet with a virus so you could suggest a website you used a week ago that got infected yesterday or have a dormant virus your antivirus doesn't pick up but someone else's does. The antivirus could be picking up something that looks malicious but is not.
The list goes on.

The court only cares about large scale distribution so unless you are the one behind the site they don't care about you 90% of the time and the 10% usually have a government job and got caught or they made an account on a website to constantly get pyrited content whenever it comes out. They tried to crackdown on pyrited content by getting Napster and a good portion of its uses in trouble but after that they decided to mainly go after the distributors instead of the people.

Also it depends on how old the thing being pyrited is and if the company that made it cares enough to file a lawsuit.
