New Host

Head Administrator Drastic announced that we got a new IP adres, this is because we got a new Host! But what is the reason what we changed Host, Did we change host because of the recent DDOS attacks? "Not exactly but it sure will help us eradicate that issue." as Drastic informed in a small interview with me. But are the DDOS attacks over, Drastic is not sure and "There's only one way to find out."!

Economy Nearly Wrecked

We wrote last week about the abuse of a glitch in the wire transfer system at the Beta Website, this bug abuse nearly caused the LS-RCR Economy to crash.
At 06/04/2015, which is exactly one year ago, all players together had a wealth of $38'960'485'134 (39 Billion). This wealth reached a stunning amount of $55 Billion just before the abuse happened. During this abuse we went to a total wealth of $58 Billion (a 3 Billion rise) but right after the Staff took action against it, the total wealth went back to $40 Billion.
We got from $39 Billion to $55 Billion, because of this abuse we got back to $40 Billion, destroying what we almost earned all together in an entire year.
But, the bug caused only $3 Billion to be created, why did we go down to $40 Billion then? I can't answer this myself, but Nniouz was kind enough to answer this question for us.
According to Nniouz, "All the players that was somehow involved in the duping exploit, have gotten their money modified.", so no duplicated money would stay on the Server. But this was just $3 Billion, Nniouz explains did some Admin Magic and after 5 minutes he "figured it out. A lot of the people had negative money, like -2,000,000,000$" as he states.
This explains the mystery of the $15 Billion that went missing, case solved.

Vehicles Deleted

While doing the research for the article above, I noticed something strange.
The total vehicles went from 195K to 57K in a single day, how is this possible?
I asked these questions to Nniouz too, but sadly we did not came to an answer. This surely asks for some more research.
This mystery will be solved, the answers can hopefully be found in the next edition of the Newspaper!
New Wealthiest

Yes, we got a new number one wealthiest at Lsrcr and he no nobody less then Nniouz himself.
I've asked him about this obviously, but he does not want to share how he gained so much money. But no worries, "Drastic have looked over it, and he can confirm its all legit" we he states.
Dom Famiglia Returns

The Dom Famiglia was inactive for a long time, but now with Fury as the new Don they will reopen soon.
So far Dom is not officially reopened yet, but it's already gaining members and improving as Fury states in a small interview.
Best luck to Fury and Dom!
The Leone Family Changes

With the Dom returning Leone has also managed to craw back from inactivity. This time with Immortal as the new Don.

I'm 18 years old, turning 19 in September.
When did you join LS-RCR?
I joined Lsrcr in summer of 2011, probably June.
How did you join LS-RCR?
A friend was playing Lsrcr so he told me to join the server.
What did you think when you just joined LS-RCR?
I mainly played other servers so I didn't give Lsrcr much attention for the first few months.
How long have you been here?
Almost 5 years.
What are your hobby's?
I have many. However, I'd put playing the piano and guitar as my main hobby. But there are also some interesting things like throwing knives!
What is your motto?
I don't really have one. Instead I'd like to give all Lsrcr players an advice: Don't be afraid of change, always try new things!
Do you have any titles or ranks that you are proud of?
Former S.W.A.T. Commander (2 times) and incumbent Pagati Consigliere. I'm very proud of my work in Lsrcr factions, I believe everyone knows both SWAT and Pagati had their golden ages under my administration.
What do you love the most about LS-RCR?
The community.
What do you hate the most of LS-RCR?
Some close-minded policies and ways things are run. There were some radical ideas which were shut down but could have improved Lsrcr a big deal.
What do you like the most about being the Pagati Con?
The ability to creatively express myself in adding new features, systems and rules.
What do you hate the most about being the Pagati Con?
Being constantly spammed.
How did you become the Pagati Con?
Originally I was promoted to acting Con by Invulnerable after I helped him organize the Family and clean it up from disloyal members. I severed for a month and then got demoted for blackmailing and making secret groups behind the Don's back, allegedly. A month later when I have proven to be innocent Drastic has appointed me back as full-time Consigliere.
