WhatsApp Desktop
By Robin
Since September everyone could use the so called web version of WhatsApp: WhatsApp Web.
Yesterday, the people from WhatsApp Inc. have released a Desktop version of WhatsApp!
The Desktop version is available for Windows 8 or higher and OS X 10.9 or higher. This is a disappointment for everyone who is on Windows 7, more about that below.
To install the Desktop version, go to https://www.whatsapp.com/download/ and select your operating system on the right, once you clicked that the download will start.
To my surprice, the installation is so easy there is no way to mess it up. Just open the downloaded execureable file which is called "WhatsAppSetup.exe", when you open the file it will automatically start the installation, this took for me a small 30 seconds. Once it was done it automatically opened the program, the installation was finished and I did not have to interact with it.
Once opened, it looks the same like the WhatsApp Web and you must do the same process of connecting it with your phone, you have to scan the QR code showed on your screen with your phone, which is exactly the same like WhatsApp Web.
Once scanned, you are good to use WhatsApp on your Desktop, this entire process took me a small 1 and a half minute.
Above we wrote that it's only for Windows 8 and above. However, I was too stubborn to just let it go with this.
I have downloaded the 64 Bit version for "Windows 8 and higher" and tried installing it with the steps above. Instead of the installer complaining that I don't have Windows 8 or above, it didn't even complain and it was installed short after. So, you can also use the Desktop version of WhatsApp on Windows 7. Just select if you got a 32 or 64 bit verion and install it!

Newspaper Changes
By Robin
Over time, the LS-RCR Newspaper changed a lot. But now it's time for a change that's worth writing about (because there's nothing else to write about).
Under the article name, you see "By Writer", Writer is the person who wrote the article. But since I am the only one who is going the Newspaper now, this will be removed. However, in case someone else writes an article this will be noted so the writer gets his credit.
Beside this pretty minor change, there will be a new category at the Newspaper, beside the normal news, Video of the Week and the Player Highlight, there will be something new added. This new thing is called "Under the Microscope", every week there will be a picture of an object which I can find in or around the house, or at public places (stores, school). The object will be placed under my mini-microscope and will be taken a picture of at a very high zoom.
Of course, you are free to suggest objects you would like to see onder the microscope!

Rainbow Groups
By Robin
Since this week, the Stunt Kings have their Forum descriptions changed, it's now written in their official color.
Not short after, the Gambino Family did the same thing with their Forums. Our expectations are that every group will do this shortly to personalize their Forums a bit!
The idea of the colored text was made up by Yuvi, one of the Stunt Kings Leaders.

Video Of The Week

Shotgunz - Traker
Note that this video is not new at all, but even now it's still one of the best LS-RCR videos out there and I thought it deserved some attention once more.

How old are you?
Im 17 years old and from germany.

When did you join LS-RCR?
Well, I joined Ls-rcr at ~January or February 2015.
Played with the Account syK_ some months and stopped until 2016.

How did you join LS-RCR?
Hmm, good question. I was looking for some Cops and Robbers Server because I played before on a server where you had to protect the president and fought against terrorists.
I enjoyed this roleplay with bad and good guys, so I searched for a Cops and Robbers server and came to this here.

What did you think when you just joined LS-RCR?
Well, I was uncertrain. I guess the first class I played was cop and the problem is, that you've get thrown in with learning commands, rules, colors and more so fast and well.. But after time and making friends, it started to make fun.

How long have you been here?
1+ year, but I was active so.. being active here? 5 Months?

What are your hobby's?
My hobbies are: Playing games like Counter Strike or GTA, going out with friends, making party/going on partys and more.

What is your motto?
Respect everyone.

Do you have any titles or ranks that you are proud of?
Here? I'm getting called aimbotter, that amuse me.

What do you love the most about LS-RCR?
Hard to say. I love many things here, the varied jobs/groups/factions, the server concept itself, ofc the players who makes this server much greater than it already is and.. I guess that the server is still getting supported with updates, thats a really important point.

What do you hate the most of LS-RCR?
The cheaters, accusers, the disrespectful players, rulebreakers and gosh, I'm since 2 days in army and I'm already so fcked up from these people who jumps on my tank and don't go off.

Is there anything you want to say?
Well guys, be respectful to everyone, even when they're rude to you. Respect yourself and the admins, too many people are rude to them and they got a hard job.
Take care of you and everyone else.

Cya.

Interesting. Well said and nice read, I didn't watch the video this time so my opinion on that is n/a.

I now watched the video and it was kind of humorous.
