Why should it be accepted:

Okay, as we all know, the server encounters cheaters every now and then. And while the administrators ban them when they're online, that's not always the case. I believe that the Supporters should be allowed to start a poll in game using the command /votekick [id]

//10 here is the number of supporters online

After this, every supporter can vote to kick the hacker/DMer. If 80% of the online supporters agree within 5 minutes, the hacker will be kicked with the message printed to the whole server:

The Community Supporters have kicked Hacker(1) off the server.

Logs can be maintained to know if anyone is misusing this power. Abuse of the same would fetch a tag removal + blacklist from the Supporter Team + a month ban.

Oh please, what are you leaving for moderators then? Sorry for the harsh words but people are recently suggesting many things for supporters which are actually the moderators job.

It's a votekick, not a single handed ban. Moderators operate alone, and if you look at the list right now, there aren't many moderators. Even if all of them come online at different times for 4 hours each, that leaves a 12 hour window. Admit it, there are a couple of hours each day when Administrators aren't online. That is why giving very minute powers to Community Supporters will definitely prove to be beneficial in the long run. They can't even ban, just kick + they require 80% of the majority for it to function. I agree how this should be done for the moderators, but looking at the fact that there are just 3 at the moment, I don't believe any function for such a group would be possible.

Than where are the mods when the shit goes down?

This command is only for use when an admin/mod isn't around.

You screen/video the hacker and report to the forums only to what? Wait till someone hopefully bans him soon?


At least with this command you can keep kicking them out until someone can deal with the situation further. If this was implemented hackers won't have as much fun trolling the server since they will get kicked before much happens and then keep getting kicked until a ban is imitated.



There can be rules added for the command like

1. You can only kick when there is no mod/admin present

2. There must a report on the forums with valid proof before kicking the hacking player more than once (cause of course some hackers come back so that's why this rule)
