The IRC chat did exist, back a long time ago, It was more of a shoutbox but never worked for chatting in game. I'm still against it either way as it's just bad news.

It would be too much and would get confusing for everyone trying to speak to people in game while others who arent are typing but maybe have a seperate chat just for people who are on the website would be a good idea like instant chat I mean

I've always been against it but whatever, I'll never use it if it gets added, will cause too many problems in my opinion.

Well yeah, either separate chat or special mark in front of those who aren't in-game.

Exactly. I saw this idea implemented in lots of games, where players would have this symbol infront of their name.
Example...
¤[Hawk]: Hey guys! (forum user)
[Critical]: Hey hawk! (game user)
