Why should we accept this: It's 10/10 needed,too helpful for all.Sometimes you need to mention someone to let him see this post(Same as FaceBook)but here in Ls-rcr would be nice there are many awesome topics which i want my friend get a look at,now i have to PM him and say go to this link and bla bla bla.By this i just would mention his name and he will get a notification!

Not 10/10 needed at all honestly.

-1 tho, it's not FB, also, this is nearly impossible as the Forum and website database are separate.

As he said (-1) from my side...
I couldn't word it any better as to my defense for the -1 I am not a fan of turning the forums into Facebook or whatever is out there. I like the forums the way it is for the most part.

Facebook has notifications

Kissane was working on developing a new theme for the forums that would work with the latest version of PhpBb - the forum software we use at lsrcr.

The new version includes the notification thing that you're wanting but with the current version were on, upgrading the version breaks alot of key features and components of the forum.
