If this were to be added, the community would be condoning the use of cheats, and as a result, would cause an increase in the amount of cheaters. The fact is, by telling cheaters that a community has a two strike policy in which their punishment can be reversed, it will only result in players abusing cheats secretly until they are caught (to gain things like score). Let me give you a specific scenario in which this would fail. During times when no admins are online, certain players cheat in order to gain score. They do this for about a month before they are caught, and when they get caught, they are banned for abusing cheats unrelated to score. Now this person has the score they wanted, and has been unbanned without admins knowing that they score boosted using cheats. What then? It really does not make sense to do this in any community at all. The fear of being permanently banned forces players who enjoy the server to abide by the rules or they lose their privilege to play.
Mentioned earlier in posts that every scenario is different. You cannot compare one cheater to another, as some of them have cheated in 90s like some guy who recently tried to appeal. Speaking of score, it doesn't give any actual importance when it's above 2000, making this con less important, than for example, hacking $ would be.

It's important to repeat that only players who cheated, from a certain time date would have the opportunity to appeal. For example, people who have been banned before 2013 for cheating. Those who are banned from 2013 till now, or who will be banned, would have no chance to apply.

I mean, 2 years ban, that teaches a good lesson and 95% people change.

One interesting scenario: Unbanning cheaters below 2500 score. All those who are higher than that, means they somehow managed to cover their hacks and secretly use them in their advantage a lot more, and shouldn't be unbanned.

Lets say you unban a cheater who was banned in 2013, which was one of those random noobs who join, fly in their car without damaging anyone, thinking they're too cool 4 school, and get ban hammered. 2 years later, he tries to ban appeal saying he was sorry and how he has learnt his lesson in these 2 years. There's no way you could compare this guy to another cheater who for example, spammed cars to lag the server

And you have to see this whole idea that damage has been done. It happened years ago and people changed, server changed. It doesn't mean they would do it again, and if they wanted to, they'd create a second account and hack again. Not apply for a ban appeal sincerely apologising and claiming they want to start playing new, fresh. Which after all, you decide if it's legit or not.

I didn't read what were said above, But I'm sure unbanning couple of cheaters will cause more cheaters to make unban appeal once they see someone getting unbanned just because he promised he won't cheat again. We all know it is mostly a bullshit.

Obviously, When players get banned for using hacks they won't just say " Fuck this server, I will play on another " they will instead ban evade to ruin the game for others as much as they can. We already had shitty times with these cheaters from the very past till now, They will never listen and they definitely don't deserve to be unbanned.

Yet, I'm saying that maybe, just maybe, some of them have tried to get a new fresh account and started to play fairly on it after getting banned for the use of cheats and the matter of luck helped them to not getting caught of ban evasion. So, I'd say let's leave those kind of players to continue playing here. ( Those who made some reputation among others and promised to not cheat again and if they do, it doesn't matter, They will be banned again and again. But their main account should never be unabnned so this will be a punishment for them).

Or even this. We could just let them make a new account and start fresh, leave the main account banned and simple give them permission to play.

It wouldn't be "ban evade" if the player sucessfully appealed his ban and got permission to start again on a new account. The old one, that is, the main one, would stay locked as we couldn't know whether he abused to gain certain score w/e

Explained it well.

After looking into the votes I can say that this will not happen.
