Why should we accept this: I think that modern forum theme lacks some much needed features which may also be the reason a lot of players choose the legacy one over the current one.

1) Add a way to distinguish that we posted in a topic (like the red "*" sign in legacy theme)
2) Enable us to see "Last post by [ insertplayernamehere]" in the mobile version of the site
3) OPTIONAL: Add a background (like the cop one in legacy) or make the theme more colorful
4) OPTIONAL: Add a night/dark variation of the modern theme (better for people who prefer black and browse forums at night)
5) Add the "jump to first unread post" button
6) Change the lockpad (locked post) color to red
That's all I can think of right now. If something else comes up on my mind, I'll note it down here.

If I'm correct, Kissane is already working on a completely new theme fitting the new website. I'd rather say he implants this in the new one.

He's trying to upgrade to the newest version of PhpBB, but when just updating to the newest version, it breaks a lot of things such as the themes (Including the standard ones!) so he'd need to re-theme it anyways.
I'm still using the legacy theme for the forum board haha I use it because it's so simple and 99% bug free in my experience

Kissane has already worked on the majority of these - he's updating the main theme before creating others as it'd be pointless doubling the workload when he can copy it and then change it.

He's changed alot of the icons, he was looking at how the red star works last night I'm not sure if that has been included yet as I'm on mobile
